  This is a really great location by the Columbia Gorge river but it does need to be remodeled. The rooms are okay, the beds are not very comfortable but the rooms are spacious. The AC can be pretty loud, it may depend on the room & we could hear kids stumping on the 3rd floor. The restaurant is great. Great views, service & food. Pricing is a bit high for this chain

  One of my favorite hotels anywhere. Lovely building and location. Unmatched riverside heated outdoor pool. Attentive pleasant staff. Dog friendly rooms possible for some trips with the pup along.

  10/10 hotel; we will be back! Breathtaking location. Incredible views from deck, bar, and pool. Air conditioning in the room was turbo - loud but effective. Staff could NOT have been sweeter - allowed us to check in early. We LOVED our stay!

  Not like an East Coasr Best Western, this one was very nice. Clean spacious rooms. Very friendly staff all around. All day restaurant with full bar. Free parking next to a gas station

  While the views of the Columbia river of some of the rooms look beautiful, they are noisy. There is always a constant noise from the cars traveling on the highway and on the bridge. The location to downtown Hood River and surrounding activities are easy and good. I'm happy to report that the restaurant food, at least our breakfast was absolutely excellent with a fantastic menu and prices. Service was also excellent. The pool is heated and hot tub is very nice. Again, from the hot tub & pool, there is a beautiful view! The exercise room is serviceable. The floor space for weight- work is super small. They have a nice array of weights, but only one person at a time can use them. There was one guy who took over the entire space for an hour. It was frustrating. The space for the larger machines are adequate. Bring your own music. The room is clean, the bed very comfortable. The only real disappointment is their TV. The remote control is VERY unresponsive. You can't lie down and operate the TV via the remote. This was frustrating. In summary, they can't control car noise, but there are some things they could do to make it better. But will they? And will we return?
