  For being on a major highway (69) this is the poorest service i have ever received and I've been all over the country... Upon entering 1st room (111) the smell of heater ac unit burning, changed room upon entering 2nd room the smells of musty possibly mold, but (118) definitely wet damp pillows , asked for possibly new or dry pillows or to dry the ones we had, was told NO pillows, didn't offer towels to place over pillows had to be asked for such items, attendant could have cared less and wasn't attentive about the situation and didn't offer another room or discount for horrible rooms or the inconvenience of the matters (have called and left a message with corporate for a solution to these problems) as I paid good money for a decent night's sleep after long drive, not to be made ill from a stay due to various reasons, unable to drive anymore or would go elsewhere, if negative star reviews were a thing they would be top of the charts. I will update and amend comments based on service outcomes and resolution of the issues seen at this location, but as it currently stands i wouldn't let anyone else stay without knowing the risks God bless stay safe and thanks for your time to view my review of horrible places to stay across America. Response from owner: I would also add that you have more than a damp problem sir.... see picture I would say you have a health code violations, loose toilet you can't sit on without wonder of falling in the floor. I would request a refund of this stay sir. It's a good thing i didn't have kids with me, but even worse to subject my wife to these conditions Ask yourself this question would you expect your family to stay in Conditions such as this. I think you yourself would feel the same way. I work in the safety and security industry. Please see reference to your problems of dampness to your location. Free evaluation to you sir. Starting: Hire bacco service., redevert Water elsewhere as its causing VARIOUS issues such as drainage, foundation issues as it will only get worse. Your day time attendant, was gracious and understanding to the problems. Very polite, trying to offer explanations. These things are not her problems to solve or fix however

  The hotel is aging. It seems clean but there is a lingering musty odor. The mattress in the room was failing. Overall, the hotel is due for renovation. It is acceptable but not better than a middling rating.

  Nice king room! Coffee maker in room. Lots of amenities- indoor pool (tiny), exercise room, dining room, room service … And it’s right across from Lake Eufaula, which is lovely.

  Unfortunately my booking experience was not good. I booked the hotel room via expedia and upon arrival at check in the front desk hotel Employee said that the virtual card on file from expedia was declined. I provided my same card to them and now have double the charges. What was supposed to be a relaxing trip to attend a weeding turn into a $614.69 two night stay in a below average hotel. Been talking to the hotel, expedia and now a 3rd party booking site that expedia used hotelbeds usa.com and still not resolved. Just disappointed in how everything has played out.
