  The chip correction was free but resulted in a crack that impaired drivers vision. I was told by two separate safelite staff that if the windshield needed to be replaced, it would also be free. I scheduled an at home replacement which was cancelled due to staff shortage. I scheduled another which had to be at the safelite garage due to weather. When the windshield was finished I was informed the bill would be $650. I was shocked since I was told it would be free. Staff looked into other payment options and verified my insurance but told me there was nothing that could be done. If I knew I had to pay out of pocket I would not have had the windshield replaced at this time. I was told the service would be free by two staff members only to find out it was a significant bill AFTER the job was done. The actual tech who did the job was great but unfortunately I won’t be using safelite moving forward.

  Bad experience with Safelite. After two trips to the shop I now have the wrong glass that will need to be replaced. I also need to go to the dealership for calibration. Sloppy adhesive work. All in all a frustrating saga that is not done yet.

  Absolutely terrible customer service. Had an appointment scheduled for a windshield replacement today at my place of employment. The appointment was set for between 8-1, which is ridiculous by itself, needing a 5 hour gap to make a visit. Then when no one showed or called we contacted our insurance company to see what happened, as we had a trip out of state planned for this evening. The insurance customer service rep tried to contact them to see what happened. NO RESPONSE. Will never use them again for any of my family's vehicles.

  Service was quick, new windshield looks great. Technician was a pleasant person to be around! 10/10 service!
