  **Best Western Kokopelli Lodge** ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I’ve never stayed at a Best Western before, but after our stay at the Kokopelli Lodge, my entire perspective has completely changed! Even after reading so many glowing reviews before booking, this place still blew past every single expectation. Right from the moment we walked in, the staff was amazingly friendly, welcoming, and attentive. The room and the entire property were exceptionally clean, comfortable, and clearly well-maintained. It’s rare for a hotel to not only live up to great reviews but actually surpass them, yet the Kokopelli Lodge delivered in every way. If you’re passing through or staying in the area, don’t hesitate to book here—it’s an absolute gem, and we will definitely be back! Oh yeah, the AC was not old school where it runs all night and freezes you, it actually has an auto feature, unlike our last hotel that cost a lot more, huge bonus!

  Incredibly friendly staff and a very surprisingly good breakfast. All of the hot food at breakfast was clearly homemade. Was great eggs and sausage, homemade tortillas, and green and red chile. Wonderful stay

  Very comfortable and clean. We stayed one night while traveling to Colorado. The room was spacious. The air conditioning worked VERY GOOD. The front desk and breakfast area employees were friendly and knowledgeable. We will stay here again.

  This hotel was clean, but it is clearly overdue for a major renovation. The carpeting throughout the property was heavily worn, the furnishings and décor were outdated, the walls were thin, and the overall hotel felt tired and run down. It did not reflect the quality I have come to expect from Best Western. The biggest disappointment was that the hotel was not accurately represented on the website. The online photographs make the property appear modern and updated, but the room we received was much older and in need of significant renovation. Guests should be able to trust that the photos accurately reflect the accommodations they are booking. We also requested rooms together because we were traveling with my 90-year-old mother, but that request was not accommodated. The breakfast area was too small for the number of guests, making it crowded during the morning. For the price we paid, I expected a much better experience. As a long-time Best Western Rewards member, I have noticed that many Best Western properties have become increasingly inconsistent in recent years. I hope this hotel receives the renovations it needs because it has the potential to be a much better property. Based on our experience, I would not stay here again until significant updates are made.
