Tracy doesn't seem to know how to listen even being a "manager." I was told a month ago when I booked the room that I could call the night before and find out how early I could get in. I told her I would need an 8 am check-in and she said that it most likely would be fine but to call the day before. I called today and Tracy was an absolute peach and told me not before 11:30 because she wouldn't kick anyone out for me. I told her I wasn't asking her to do that, but was told it could happen if they had availability. I told her the person said they'd put notes on my account. She said they did, but they mist have been new and they were wrong. I told her if the notes were there, she should honor that. She said she wouldn't know if they had availability until 7 am. I told her she knows now if she's full. She said she had two rooms available but wouldn't tell me if they were booked until 7 am when she came back in. She said she is the only one that works there. She said that she would call me at 7 am and let me know if the room was available because she's not kicking anyone out for me (she sure was stuck on that line!). I again told her I wasn't expecting her to do that and if she would just listen, maybe she could understand what I was saying. She said if I was going to be a problem she was canceling my stay and banning me from the property. Karma is fun, Tracy!

Route 66 - atrakcja. Motel z lat świetności drogi, oraz przy nim mała kolekcja samochodów.
Otwarty w 1938 roku i rozbudowany w 1957 roku motel zachował liczne elementy nawiązujące do jego historii. Należą do nich dwa dziewięciojednostkowe budynki i oryginalna pralnia dobudowane w 1950 roku, biuro zbudowane w 1953 roku, trzy budynki motelu (z 1938 i 1957 roku), basen i domek przy basenie dobudowane w 1958 roku.

Only problem we had was the parking in the room 410. There is no parking for those rooms. We asked and was changed to a better room with parking.

The Rail Haven is a historic Route 66 Motel. The staff were kind and the facilities were well maintained. I particularly enjoyed the old trees, bushes, and outdoor pavilion. If you are traveling the open road, this motel will add to the charm of your nostalgic journey. Don’t let the curmudgeons discourage you from experiencing this gem. Some people just like to complain.

I Stayed at this quaint, nostalgic motel for a few days while on business. The general manager went above and beyond to make sure my stay was comfortable. She also helped with my dietary needs such as organic almond milk, sugar-free syrup and the hot breakfast was great
I will be going back again for pleasure and stay at one of the theme rooms.
