Great location downtown with lots of dining and bar options within walking distance. That's about the best I can say about this hotel.
The first problem we had was trying to find the room in a labyrinth of bad signage and confusing directions to our room. The front desk gave unclear instructions to find our room, and the hotel has multiple elevators in odd corners of the building. If you have never been here before, it is very easy to get disoriented. Once the correct elevator was located, we still had to climb a set of stairs to reach the floor that our room was on. Not a big deal but, after a long day in the car it was frustrating to say the least.
Once we found our room, we experienced the second problem. Opening the door, the smell inside the room was awful. It smelled like a barn with wet animals inside. Again, not a huge deal, and we figured if we opened the window for a while it would air out the room and it would be fine. With the windows wide open, it improved but when we closed the windows the odor resurfaced.
The third and worst problem was the shower drain in the tub. The drain simply didn't work and after just a couple of minutes with the water running, I was standing in about 3 inches of foul water that would not drain.
When I reported these things to the staff, they were indifferent and seemed to not really care that I had experienced these issues. No apologies, no concern, nothing.
Overall, I would not stay here again and would not recommend it to a friend or acquaintance.

Room and location was great. Only complaint was the tub not draining while showering. Besides that this was the perfect spot for our Bmx weekend getaway. Will definitely book again!

I recently stayed at the Best Western Plus Kelly Inn and had a great experience overall. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and made my stay in St. Cloud very enjoyable. One thing that really stood out was the morning front desk employee. He did an amazing job making sure guests knew about St. Cloud and took the time to guide people to places worth visiting around the area. He was extremely friendly, welcoming, and very knowledgeable, which made a big difference during our stay.
The PM front desk employee was okay and did his job professionally, but seemed to stick mostly to what was required without going much beyond that. Still, the overall customer service experience was very good.
I also really enjoyed the coffee and the restaurant next door, which made the stay even better. I would definitely recommend staying here if you are passing through or visiting St. Cloud. Great location, friendly atmosphere, and a very pleasant overall experience.

We were incredibly disappointed. My husband and I were moving and needed a place to stay for one night while we transitioned from a St. Cloud residence to a St Augusta residence. We are 59 years old and had made a reservation with the Best Western plus hotel online. After an exhausting day of moving, we were looking forward to checking in and having a nice dinner. Unfortunately, the Best Western has a “ Policy” Whereby they do not allow St. Cloud residence to check into their hotels, we were turned away based on our ZIP Code of residence. Very discriminatory Thankfully, all worked out fine. We were able to easily get a hotel at the Marriott. (Well, done, Mariott!!!). Very frustrated with Best Western’s policies. I cannot believe they turned us away.
