  The service was not up to the mark. We stayed there for 3 nights but the room was not cleaned even once. They only changed the towels even after we put the sign of make my room please. The mattress and pillows were not comfortable They could not handle the breakfast rush. We did not get fruits and yogurt. When we asked for it we were told it’s over. However the shuttle service was very convenient. The location was close to the ferry to Mackinac Island.

  After having paid months in advance we arrived only to find out they had cancelled our stay that morning when we were already driving there. We had no clue until we got there because no one called to inform us. Also they did not offer any sort of real assistance in finding a new place to stay besides a single recommendation. When asked why we were cancelled on we were not given a straight answer.

  I've stayed here before and found the rooms/location/property a good value, so I booked again...6 weeks in advance using my rewards account. I received email confirmation multiple times, up to 2 days before the stay. Then on check-in day, the hotel cancelled my reservation 1 HOUR before check-in. There was no prior indication of an issue, but when I called the hotel (~5pm), I was told that my credit card was declined - I hadn't provided a credit card when I made the reservation. I offered to provide a credit card over the phone to reinstate the reservation and was told my room had already been given away, they were fully booked, and there was nothing they could do. Which was not true...a room was available for the 1st night but not the 2nd. I could have worked with that to find a different hotel the 2nd night but the staff didn't care. It's the worst service I've received in all my travels and will not book here again. As it turns out, I found a lovely lakeview room down the road and for $110 less!

  We had a wonderful stay at the Best Western Harbour Pointe Lakefront. From the moment we arrived, the staff was welcoming, friendly, and genuinely helpful. Our two-bedroom suite was spacious and comfortable, but the highlight was the patio. Being able to walk right out to a grassy area and nearby park made it feel much more relaxing than a typical hotel stay. The views of Lake Huron were absolutely stunning, and waking up to the sunrise over the water each morning was unforgettable. The hotel also has two pools, which gave everyone plenty of space to enjoy themselves. Between the beautiful lakefront setting, comfortable accommodations, and exceptional staff, this was a great home base for exploring St. Ignace and the surrounding area. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing waterfront getaway. 🌅🌊

  This hotel was fantastic. It is a campus rather than a single building. We stayed in the Ontario building in a double queen balcony lakeview room. This hotel was CLEAN inside and out! Honestly it has been a long time since I've had such clean accommodations. Check in was friendly, helpful and fast. The view from our room was stunning. Be warned, there will be bugs. Specifically, flies are everywhere and the hotel warned us about them at check in. They don't bite so they are more of a nuisance if anything. If you go on the balcony of your room they WILL get inside. The first floor of our building had vending machines with drinks and snacks with a food selection. Ice machine was also on the first floor. Continental breakfast every morning from 6-10. Really good spread, there is something for everyone. Coffee was good. Several juices to choose from. They have a nightly "bonfire" although it's truly just a small fire pit. Was nice to sit and enjoy the sunset. There is a convenient shuttle to and from either ferry service you choose to get to the island. After a day of biking and hiking, we were so sore and dreading the walk to our building situated in the very back of the campus. Our wonderful shuttle driver drove us all the way to the building which wasn't expected but very welcome! Be sure to tip your driver! Our second day was rainy, but this hotel is in a great location. Many things are walking distance (in better weather)or a short drive. Lots of shops to pop into and great dining options. BC pizza delivers to the hotel if you can't or don't want to drive. I will be back again and looking forward to it.
