  This isn't a classy hotel, but there's not much in Lapeer and this is a good choice. There's no elevator, so we had to take several trips up the long stairway. You'll need to know this if you're limited physically. Probably should ask for a room on the first floor. The room was nice: King Suite. Small older shower, but it worked well. Overall, it suited what we needed in the area we needed. There's not much in the Thumb, so this is a good choice.

  This place had no elevator, hard to climb stairs in formal dress with my belongings. Pillows were very soft and flat. The room should have extra blanket.

  This is unfortunately the only hotel in the area for us to stay at to visit family. The check in process was a headache and chaotic. Previously we had stayed here and were told that renovations were happening and it seems like very minimal has been renovated in the few years we’ve not been here. Rooms were clean but did have some mystery stains at times on the linens and the furniture in the room was uncomfortable for my dad. There are no elevators which was not great for me who was very pregnant. The doors that we needed to use to enter to get to our rooms the quickest were broken and un-usable. The hot tub was also out of order. Continental breakfast was okay- nothing too out of the ordinary there. We enjoyed swimming in the evenings- but the rates definitely felt overpriced for what you get at this hotel. Best part of the stay was that a family hid mini Jesus’s around the hotel. Overall- there are minimal options for other lodging in the area so you might not have a choice for a mediocre stay. 🤷🏼‍♀️

  Great hotel for a reasonable price. Microwave, coffee maker, refrigerator, free Breakfast and indoor Pool. Friendly check in staff. We will be back.

  Let's start with what was great- the staff was very pleasant and helpful for the minimal interactions we had with them. My husband forgot his tooth brush and the front desk gave him one. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The shower had great pressure and was nice and hot. Breakfast was your standard continental hotel breakfast. Nothing out of the ordinary but met our needs. The not so great- avoid room 110. It is near two doors (an exit door & a door between the lobby and hallway), they both banged ALL night long. Removing the hallway door alone would cut down noise considerably. The people above us decided that from 12-130 AM was a great time to run marathons and leap hurdles around their room. We were in for a wedding and the place was booked our we would have requested a room change. Lastly, this is an older out-of-date facility but it is very clean. If you're wanting fancy and the finest finishes this is not the place for you. However, it's conveniently located and we always felt safe. I would stay again, but not near an exit or on the first floor.
