This was the single worst hotel experience of my life. Spent $250 bucks to not sleep at all. The people above us did not sleep and were all over the place all night and I heard every footstep very loudly. TV, fan, nothing could overshadow the noise. Wife and I ended up leaving, exhausted, at 5:00 AM and drove over an hour to get back home (this wasn't the most safe thing to do, but we needed to get home to rest). This completely wrecked our weekend as we ended up sleeping almost all of Saturday.
The manager, Pradip Patel, has been ignoring my attempts to mediate the situation.
Word to the wise (hopefully wiser than me): DO NOT STAY AT THIS ROACH-INFESTED, THIN FLOOR/WALLS, DIRTY AS HELL ROOMS, BROKEN TUBS, PIECE OF CRAP HOTEL. I guess I should consider myself lucky I did not contract a case of the plague while there.

Edit #2: I have given ample time to receive a response from management. Pradip keeps ducking my calls and not responding to us. I have called multiple times to the property to only get no resolution and no actual progress on this. I have filed a ticket with the corporate folks, but that seems to also do nothing to spur any actual action. So if there is not resolution by 3:00 PM, Tuesday, 6/16/2026, I will be pursuing a chargeback of the full amount of the stay through our bank. I have been told Pradip will be there between 12 and 3 tomorrow, so I will be calling at 12:05 and I expect to talk to him.

Response seems like canned corporate talk that will go nowhere. Management has ignored my calls both yesterday and today and now this response is given? This is really terrible service. I am not sure what you have done to make me want to give you another chance? We are going to just contact the corporate office.
Don't stay here if you want to sleep.. The floors are so creaky I haven't slept (it's 5:03am) because the people above us haven't... We booked last minute so this is what was available but if I had known it was this bad, I would have just picked another weekend and another hotel. Lesson learned.

I don't know how they maintain their Best Western status, this hotel is doomed to be a super 8 within a year or two. The staff is awesome they work very hard. But you can see that the management or ownership does not put any money back into this hotel it is literally falling apart. The second floor has a combination of smells of marijuana, Curry, and just old carpet. The rooms are regularly doused with freshener but they still stink it is definitely not worth the amount of money that they charge like I said it will soon be a super 8

We stayed at the Best Western in Coldwater and had a mixed experience.
When we arrived, our room was extremely hot, almost like the air conditioning hadn't been running. We found the thermostat and turned it down, but it still struggled to cool the room effectively.
The biggest issue was the pool area. We specifically waited until after 10:00 PM to take our teenagers swimming because the posted pool rules state that no one under 16 is allowed after that time. Unfortunately, there were numerous young children still in the pool well past 10:00. They were screaming, repeatedly slamming pool noodles on the water, diving despite signs clearly stating not to, and cannonballing into adults. At one point, a child jumped so close to me that it nearly knocked me under. When we spoke with the front desk, we were told the parents had asked if the children could stay later, and management allowed it. While I understand wanting to accommodate guests, it was frustrating to learn that the posted pool rules were not being enforced.
That said, the front desk staff were wonderful throughout our stay. They were very accommodating, provided extra towels when needed, held our DoorDash order at the desk for us, and were consistently friendly and helpful.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but the room temperature issues and lack of enforcement of the pool rules kept it from being a better experience.

Absolutely disgusting! 0/5 stars
Clumps of hair was left in the shower. The room smelled like they were trying to cover up someone smoking. The sheets were stained. We found possible blood stains on the wall. There was a cockroach that ran near my toddlers head in the early morning hours. The bathroom floor was extremely slippery and greasy.
We notified the front desk but we got attitude and were basically told to be liars because of no photo proof. I was more focused on getting my young children out before I decided I needed to chase a bug around the room for a picture. Seems to be a common issue based on other reviews. Apparently I didn’t do enough research to this hotel.
