This place is great! Me and my family had a great time here. We’ve actually been lots of times! The people are great, the indoor/outdoor pool, the hot tub with a waterfall, the breakfast, literally everything about it is great! I definitely recommend this hotel.

From checking in to checking out was uncomfortable. I came late and was happy they could accommodate me but the attitude was not needed. The breakfast lacked. Not very much options (for me). I gave it a two star because even though the room was a nice size, the place wasn’t clean, mainly the bathroom. Tub was dirty, toilet handle broken and the sink is dirty also. I had to clean it before using it. There was hair in the bed and bathroom. Not very happy with that at all.

The staff was very friendly and attentive, and I could tell they work hard to keep the rooms clean and repaired. The breakfast was nice with several options. Overall I had a pleasant stay, but some of the furnishings could use an update. The bed had a very old spring mattress where I sank to the middle. I would recommend this place if you want a clean, convenient stop, and don't mind it being a little vintage.
I only spent one night here, so I wasn't able to take advantage of the pool or hot tub I saw so many reviewers raving about, but overall this wasn't bad stay for the price point. The staff were super friendly, and the breakfast options were significantly more varied than I was expecting: scrambled eggs, sausage, a pancake maker, bread and bagels for toasting, multiple flavors of cream cheese and other spreads, fresh fruit, yogurt, juice, pastries, and more. They had coffee available in the breakfast room - where there was plenty of seating - and more coffee in the lobby. The room had decent amenities: large TV, fridge, microwave, Keurig, iron and ironing board, hair dryer, a desk, three suitcase stands, and an armchair with an ottoman. I also liked that there's two sinks and vanities in each room - one inside of the bathroom with the shower and toilet, and one just outside of the bathroom.
Cons: didn't get a great night's sleep because I'm a side sleeper and the mattress was very stiff, and the pillows were small (square-shaped) and lumpy - I was wishing I had brought mine from home! The shower was odd as well. Our bathroom had a heat lamp (very cool) but no exhaust fan, which I thought was weird. The shower head was clogged, so the water sprayed out in every direction, and somehow the water pressure was simultaneously too weak and too hard. Not a big deal for one night, but that would have been rough for a longer stay.
Was here with my family for an event in Portland and the hotel was minutes away. I am very particular about my hotel stays and almost missed this gem because I was sorting hotels starting 4.5 stars, but due to booking last minute, I did not find anything in our budget and had to lower my filter, so I saw this hotel listed available.
Rooms were quiet, tidy, and smelled clean. The beds were comfortable, and the bathrooms had plenty of towels, as well as towels at the pool area. We came on a weekend with chilly weather so the jacuzzi felt nice and even the outdoor pool since it's heated and was loads of fun, our daughter was very happy.
Breakfast has all the standard fixings, the automatic pancake making machine being quite fun to watch. The highlight for me is always whether they have gluten free options, which upon asking staff they did - muffins and bagels, and even a dedicated toaster!
Staff was very friendly and the cost didn't break the bank. All around a no-nonsense, clean, wonderful stay. Thank you Best Western for the great experience!
