Please save yourself the headache of booking at this hotel. I booked a stay here through a third party website and received multiple confirmations about my reservation, only to find that they had overbooked and I didn't have a room when I arrived. Upon sharing this news with me, the person at the front desk told me "it's okay to use the bathroom if you need to before you leave" as I was trying to get my bearings and think about what to do next. Many hotels in the area were completely booked due to a concert at Tanglewood so my options were very limited (and expensive) given it was so last minute. There was another party checking in right behind me who had the same problem and were also sent away. The manager was on-site (came to help someone ahead of me check in) but was nowhere to be found when the stressful news was delivered to either party. I called several times to try to speak to the manager, and they either didn't answer the phone (it rang a bunch of times before disconnecting) or I was told that they would call me back, which no one did. I've never experienced this kind of unprofessionalism or disregard for customer service as this hotel has demonstrated. Please don't risk not having a place to stay when you're far from home!
Absolutely unacceptable. Do not stay here.
I am honestly shocked by the condition of this hotel. The problems started the moment we walked into the room. There was a strong, disgusting mop-like smell, and the shower curtain smelled so horribly that it was almost unbearable. The smell was so strong that it made me feel sick.
Then we discovered that the bathroom light was flickering. We asked the front desk to replace the light bulb. We waited for quite a while, but nobody came. After calling the front desk again, someone simply left a light bulb outside our door —apparently expecting us to replace it ourselves.
My husband replaced it, only to find out that the bulb they gave us was already dead and didn’t work at all. He then went downstairs himself to get another one. The front desk bell had been removed, and there was no employee around, so he had to wait again. Eventually, he was given another bulb and had to replace it himself.
This is not what I expect from a hotel, especially one operating under the Best Western Plus name.
The bathroom was also extremely dirty. The bathtub had a significant amount of built-up grime, the sink drained very slowly, and when we picked up a towel to use it, there was a long strand of someone else’s hair stuck to it.
The shower curtain smelled so strongly of a dirty mop that I genuinely felt nauseous. I have stayed in many hotels, and I have never experienced this level of poor cleanliness and basic maintenance.
I am posting photos because I think guests deserve to see the condition of the room for themselves. This is far beyond a room simply being “old” or “dated.” This is a serious cleanliness and maintenance issue.
I strongly recommend that management take immediate action to address the cleanliness, bathroom conditions, housekeeping, and basic maintenance at this property. Until these issues are properly addressed, I would seriously recommend that travelers avoid staying here.
This was one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had.

Upon arriving to the hotel, we checked in and discovered the cleanliness of the room was extremely below satisfactory level. There were dirty tissues underneath the covers of the bed, stains on the walls and carpets, cobwebs, tears in the bedding and overloaded outlets. After contacting the front desk, we were told that we cannot be switched to another room and that the reason the room was unclean was because they did not have time to clean it due to early check in. We requested early check in 2 weeks before the stay, and called the morning of and were told that early check in could be accommodated. We also agreed to pay an early check in fee. If it was true that the hotel did not have time to clean the room, we would have preferred to have been told we cannot check in early and waited for a clean room.
After speaking with the front desk, the representative was extremely rude and aggressive, making us feel uncomfortable to stay the night due to the disrespect that we experienced when voicing a complaint. We verbalized that we would not be staying and a refund was refused. After speaking with Best Western Customer Relations, we were told that the hotel denied to refund again because they did not have time to check that the room was dirty, despite photos being submitted in the complaint.
This is a warning to avoid this hotel at all costs. The poor management, the poor quality of the rooms and the health concerns cannot be overlooked.

Stay Away unless you absolutely have to bring your dog. The room and hallway smells like wet dog. My room was dirty , bed not made properly, the showers had hair in it( not mine). The room smelled so bad we bought air freshener and sprayed it often.

Spent a few midweek nights here, property was decent but nothing special. Wish I had asked for a room on the top floor as you can hear every step your upstairs neighbor takes and probably quieter if you request a room not facing the main road. Room was clean enough and bed was okay, need to make sure they have Do Not Disturb sign for the room, mine didn't. Didn't check out the breakfast service. Overall a decent stay at a reasonable price, I would return.
