  Rooms are immaculate, service desk was very polite. Morning person was sweet, preparing breakfast when I went down for coffee. My only negative(s) were NO coffee maker in rooms, and people slamming doors until 10am. No sense calling down, they cant do anything, but I didn't call so that didn't factor into my rating. The in room coffee maker was a huge negative. This is literally the only chain hotel I've stayed in without 1. Im a diamond select member, stay exclusively at BW but this one will likely not see me again.

  Great hotel, wonderful staff and full breakfast buffet. Plentiful exercise equipment, and location convenient to restaurants.

  My friend and I are staying at Best Western Valparaiso. We have stayed at this hotel multiple times over the years. Has been good experience. However last couple times especially this time it’s not been so good. They clean the room but don’t do the best job with the bathroom. Especially the toilet. It’s ok. However it could be improved. Also the beds are not as comfortable. The mattress is harder. Plus the air conditioner is noisy and the hotel just did renovations. There is a new hotel being built and if it’s open in October we will be staying there. Best Western has dropped the ball lately.

  Overall, a decent value for the money. But the place seemed a bit run down. Most of our towels had stains on them.

  We read the reviews which talked about dirty rooms before booking, but the company had responded to those reviews months ago and we trusted the issues would have been resolved. They were not. Our first room smelled like cooking oil and the beds appeared to have been made, but the sheets looked wrinkled and used. The bathroom was clearly not cleaned, there was water all over the counter and looked like it had recently been used. We requested another room, and were given one immediately. The second room smelled cleaner, had a cleaner looking bathroom, and the sheets appeared fresh. However, the towels in the bathroom were full of stains AND hair!!!! We requested new towels and they arrived in the exact same condition—stained and with hairs in them. They also smelled like weed instead of bleach detergent. Additionally, the paint was peeling from the toilet seat and the ceiling had obvious cracks and buckling. The breakfast was mediocre at best. The service was ok. The cleanliness of the rooms and the awful towel situation is something that needs to be immediately remedied.
