Stayed with my boyfriend and some of his family for a night due to power outage in our town. We all caught head lice from sheets/towels after the shower and pool. Spent so much money getting treatments and haircuts. Do not recommend.
We stayed two night here and it was two nights too many. Immediately when going into our room you could smell a musty odor. Turned on the ac in hopes of improving but didn’t help much. The ac was not very cool. Turned on the nightstand light and spotted an ant. That was only the beginning, found more and more just random around the room. When we arrived we were asked if we wanted our room to be serviced the next day for towels, etc. to which we said yes. Never received any nor was our garbage emptied or dirty towels removed. The lock on the door was very difficult to engage and the safety lock was broken. We will not be returning to this location

I will never stay here again. I was told and charged one rate, then they charged an additional $80 to my card. I stayed with 2 adult dogs for 2 nights, we were gone all day only being there for the evening hours and they slept all night. There was no damage so I'm not sure of the additional charge and apparently there is no one there to answer phones to figure out that answer. The mail box is also full so I can't leave a message. While the staff was nice, you could never find anyone. The breakfast was abysmal, the pool was cold and not the cleanest. The side doors were locked during the day and couldn't be opened from outside forcing you to always use the main door, even when you're at the end of a hall. And not a single outdoor trashcan to throw away dog poop, they must not expect you to pick up after your pet. I would advise anyone to look elsewhere to stay.

The room had a combination of live and dead bugs. Admittedly, at first, I could not tell the species of the dead bugs on the floor and the ones crawling on the ceiling were too far for me to tell. At first, I admit, I believe they were bedbugs, but it would not matter what type of bug I will not stay in a room with any bugs at all nor will I stay at a property that has bugs. When management responded denying a refund after I left after only three hours, they informed me that they were only “ladybugs. To be honest, I was not gonna spend time searching to find out what type of bugs they were why I was attempting to have a weekend away, so he may be correct, but I will not stay with bugs. If you’re OK with only ladybugs, this is your place to stay. Also, management does not want you to book through third-party sites, because he informed me that they cannot do anything for me when I booked through a third-party site and he recommends that book directly with the hotel in the future. Well, had I done that, I would be stuck with this brand. On the other hand, I can use my rewards to Expedia at any brand other than best western. Choose for yourself. The front desk staff were all very nice.
