  The BW Saluki offers exceptional value for money. The room was spotlessly clean with very comfortable beds and pillows. They offer a wide variety of hot and cold breakfast items including fresh fruit. My husband raved about their biscuits and gravy with sausage in the gravy. The coffee was nice and hot - and very good. Well located in the town / city of Carbondale, IL. A bar with restaurant next door (good drinks and decent food with fair prices) - you can have a drink or two without having to worry about getting back in your car. A Walmart across the road. If you're in the area, this is a great place to stay.

  The midnight desk clerk was a tremendous help, I do not believe I have ever had that a great customer service. The only thing I would like to say that was wrong or not completely 100% was the elevator that was really slow it made you feel seasick. I would like to mention however the pool area to use the Jets on and have the tile not as slippery as it was. 9/10

  It is a good hotel for all types of travelers. The room is clean and spacious. However, the sofa bed could be a little hard on your back and the AC unit is a bit too noisy. The free breakfast is surprisingly good and way above average.

  EDIT: See Owner's reply below, does it sound to you like they care one bit? My name is on here, and if they were sincerely concerned they would contact ME. Waited forever at the counter to check in. Traveling with older parents, booked 2 rooms 8 months ago and they put us on separate floors. The furniture is all beat up and dusty, and the place is a wreck with bad service. I've been here 15min and I hate it already.

  Can i just say, its 2026, if you dont have your wifi figured out yet, Im not sure you should get any stars. The government housing; of establishments. Best westerns usually have a decent weight room, this one fails there also.
