  In town for Joefest, and this was a great budget option for me to go solo. 1st,the staff is INCREDIBLE, very friendly, very helpful. The nice lady that made breakfast today REALLY cared and did a great job. Hotel breakfast can be sketchy but this woman took pride in her job and it showed. That said, when I checked in the room reeked of Pot SO bad, I had to tell the front desk so they didn't think it was me. The toilet has a bad flapper, and when it refills it sounds like a screaming goat in my room. The staff is probably doing the best they can, with an older building. If your looking for a budget stay, this is fine. The pool is small and not the best for kids. I get the impression this is the "party hotel" for adults. I did not want to bother the nice staff, but I SERIOUSLY need a better room. The toilet is doing it again right now. GREAT staff..older building.

  I was worried about staying here because of some of the reviews I had read, but I'm glad I stayed here to find out for myself. I've stayed at BW before, but never a BW Plus hotel, so this was a first. I'm glad I did. Service was good, the room/bathroom were clean, the A/C worked great, and the bed and couch were comfortable. The toilet did constantly run, so that needs to be fixed, but at least it wasn't very noisy. There were also some small pieces of trash on the floor by the elevator. It was there when I checked in during the afternoon and still there when I left at 9 am the following day, so clearly no staff bothered to pick it up, even though room service was already on my floor cleaning rooms. The breakfast of eggs and sausage was good, but breakfast was limited a bit. There is also a waffle maker, but with a line of kids waiting, I skipped it. The oatmeal that is provided is not actual cooked oatmeal, but oatmeal packets. So while you can have breakfast here, other similarly priced hotel chains do offer better breakfast. Even so, I would stay here again.

  I booked and fully paid for a room with two queen beds a full month in advance for my family of four, and this hotel simply did not honor the reservation. Even after I called days before arrival to reconfirm, we arrived after a long drive to find a room with only one bed. No warning, no solution. The front desk gave a quick “apology” and blamed Expedia instead of taking responsibility, even though the hotel had every opportunity to notify me earlier. We had to cancel and scramble to find another hotel late at night at a higher cost. Completely unacceptable. This property clearly does not care that it breached the contract or how it treats its customers. Management needs to address how this hotel handles confirmed reservations and guest communication.
