  Rooms were dated and someone was smoking in the hotel which stunk up the entire floor we were on. There was no air conditioning in the second room of our suite. There was a fan, but it was loud and only pushed the hot air in the room around. The employees were pleasant and accommodating; however there was some difficulty getting our gift cards applied to our room. The hotel was within a 15 minute drive to the airport. I am a die hard best western fan, but will probably not ever stay at this best western again. I gave this hotel 2 stars because the employees were great and the location was close to the airport, but the issues with the actual hotel and the cost for the room was ridiculous for the state of the hotel.

  Check in was quick and Shalini took great care of us and always had a smile on her face greeting everyone. Next morning she was very attentive and was making sure the breakfast was well stocked. When we’re back in Tampa we are staying there again.

  We had an error with our reservation at the hotel. John was amazing! It was 1:30 am and we had been traveling all day. What a blessing! The hotel staff is absolutely lovely! We will be back!
