  The location is the best thing about this hotel. But, you have to pay to park in the parking lot that was built to provide parking for paying guests at the hotel. The breakfast was unappealing and not filling. The room for dining is significantly smaller in person than depicted in pictures. We had to go somewhere else and pay for additional food each morning. No ice machines on the property work. The manager just shrugged and said, "it's been like that" when I asked. The bathroom doors in the rooms are barn style and DO NOT LOCK for privacy. Also, the steam from 5 minutes in the shower causes the smoke alarm to go off. The smoke alarm is directly above the bathroom door, on the bedroom side of the wall. Guests were set up in their lawn chairs smoking directly outside of the room doors.

  I think it's ridiculous to be charged 15$ A DAY for Parking! This is just a way to say your rooms are cheaper and still get too dollar. It's very rude!

  The positives of this place are that the rooms are very clean, the location is just a block away from the beach, and service was very friendly. However. The walls are extremely thin and noise suppression is terrible. We had the misfortune of staying while there was a frat party upstairs and you could hear EVERYTHING (yes I mean everything 🤢). I also felt that not enough was being done to remedy the situation as all of the other guests were complaining about the noise and the trash from the party upstairs. Parking is also extremely limited and you will have to pay per vehicle per day. As another review pointed out, this is basically a glorified motel. I would only recommend this location once they work on noise suppression and perhaps a better parking solution.

  The musty smell ruined my stay. The room was very clean, beds comfortable, but the smell was so strong. The bathroom door was a sliding barn door style - I prefer the privacy of a traditional door. Also of note, they were leaf blowing the parking lot at 8am, and it was LOUD. We were up, but - if anyone was trying to relax and sleep in, that wasn't happening. Staff was friendly. Easy walk to the beach. Great price. But I would not stay here again.
