  I have rented from Sixt many times in the past and always trusted the safety of their vehicles, which is why this experience was so disappointing. While driving from Fort Lauderdale to Tampa at approximately 60 mph under normal highway conditions, the right rear tire suddenly blew out. We safely pulled over and discovered severe inner tread wear on both rear tires. There had been no collision, potholes, or contact with road debris. Florida Highway Patrol responded to the scene and arranged towing because the vehicle was disabled. What disappointed me most was Sixt’s response afterward. Instead of acknowledging our safety concerns, we were told that it was our responsibility to inspect the vehicle before driving and that they insisted the car had no issues. Customers can be expected to notice scratches and dents, but not hidden tire wear that could lead to a blowout at highway speed. It is unrealistic to expect renters to inspect the inner tread condition of all tires or identify potential mechanical or maintenance issues before leaving the lot. We had to pay out of pocket for towing and emergency tire replacement, our trip was significantly delayed, and most importantly, my mother and I were placed in a situation that could have resulted in serious injury or worse. As a repeat customer, this experience has completely shaken my trust in Sixt’s vehicle inspection process and customer service. I sincerely hope Sixt takes vehicle safety concerns more seriously in the future, because no customer should have to experience a tire blowout at highway speed and then be told that they should have discovered a condition that only proper vehicle inspections would have identified.

  My experience with Sixt at Hallandale Beach was absolutely unacceptable. I rented a vehicle through Expedia and was completely misled by Monica E. From the beginning, I was told one thing and received something completely different. Monica E. gave me a different car than what I agreed to and then expected me to waste my time going to another location just to exchange it. This is extremely unprofessional, misleading, and shows a complete lack of customer service and respect for customers’ time. When you rent a car, especially through a trusted platform like Expedia, you expect honesty, transparency, and the vehicle you paid for not excuses and inconvenience. Instead of solving the issue at the location where the mistake happened, I was pushed to deal with the problem elsewhere. This experience caused unnecessary frustration and stress and completely ruined my trust in Sixt. If this is how customers are treated, management seriously needs to reevaluate staff training and accountability. I would not recommend this location to anyone. Extremely disappointing experience.

  Angel provided outstanding customer service throughout my rental experience. She was always friendly, professional, and willing to help with any questions I had. She assisted me with extending my rental and made the entire process smooth and stress-free. Angel is very kind, responsive, and genuinely cares about customers. Employees like her make a huge difference and are the reason people come back. I would love to see more team members like Angel. Thank you for all your help!

  The representative was very professional, friendly, and efficient. She explained all available options and helped me choose the best one quickly and smoothly. Sixt has a great selection of high-quality vehicles, and the whole rental process was fast and easy. I really appreciate the great service and will definitely rent from Sixt again.

  The best car rental experience is with Sixt! I’ve rented from this Sixt location in Hallandale Beach multiple times, and every experience has been smooth, efficient, and hassle-free. The staff is consistently professional, friendly, and welcoming, and the branch is always clean and well organized. The cars are maintained very clean, free of any odor and practically brand new vehicles. On my most recent reservation, Monica, the Branch Manager, went above and beyond to make sure everything was handled quickly and professionally. She was knowledgeable, attentive, and took the time to answer all of my questions. Her customer service made the entire rental process seamless. What keeps me coming back is the consistency. Whether it’s vehicle quality, customer service, or the speed of the rental process, this location continues to exceed expectations. If you’re looking for a reliable rental experience in South Florida, I highly recommend this Sixt location. In my experience, Sixt continues to set the standard for the car rental industry.
