  Do not come here. We ordered two rooms—one with a king bed, the other with two queen beds. We booked this 3 months in advance!! Get to the check in desk and they tell us they don’t have our rooms available!! Ridiculous. They didn’t give us a partial refund either. Fast forward to our actual room. They gave us a queen bed and sofa bed as a substitute. The sofa bed wasn’t made. They just dropped a trash bag with sheets in it and left. It was also dirty with hair all over it. The bed was also uncomfortable and you could feel the springs. Secondly, the outlets here are too wide. They didn’t fit any of our blocks. Also, the mini fridge is terrible! Doesn’t cool anything. In the bathroom, they gave us the finest bar soap to shower with. Bottom line, go somewhere else. Never coming here again.

  Rezeptionist tiefenentspannt. Zimmer muffig und laut. Das Frühstück war überraschend gut. Für eine Nacht auf der Durchreise ok.

  The worst. The customer service is horrible. Best western will be contacted due to this location not accepting gift cards from Best western that was sent from a recent stay because the establishment had not running on day of check out. It stop right while I was in shower. I do have the videos. Water wouldn't even come out sink. Spoke with manager twice she said she was sending someone and never did. She never even called to check on situation. So unprofessional. I assume because I am of darker Color!!! She basically could care less. The disrespect and horrible hospitality from Christine and male workers is unbelievable. If I was lighter I would have been treated with the utmost respect!!!They too cheap to honor best western gift cards!!!

  I am a rewards member and stay at many best westerns over the world. Especially the New Haven/west haven location. I recently stayed here for two nights this past weekend room 106. The morning or our check out, my fiancé went to shower, and noticed the water coming out the faucet was brown (I’ve added pictures). I then went to start the sink water and it was brown as well. Of course, we were not going to shower or brush our teeth in these conditions. We went to the front desk to address the matter and was told by one staff member that the water was dirty because we were near the beach. I asked to speak to the manager, but instead was greeted by another staff member who informed us that the water had been “reset” which causes the brown color due to dirt being filtered out. I asked why weren’t guests made aware of this “reset” and was told that they were working on getting an email sent out. In my opinion, a notification should have been given prior to the reset so guest can be prepared or make other arrangements. I again asked to speak to the manager and was told that she was busy and could not address my concerns. I had a meeting to attend within the next hour, so I had to stop at a Walmart to tidy up, which was very inconvenient and undesired. Overall I was extremely disturbed and felt very dismissed when all I wanted was for someone to explain what was going on. Staff was not accommodating and had no regard to our concerns. Unfortunately we will not be back at the best western. Make sure to check the water before you use it and ask when the “water reset” is going to take place.
