  Staff are so helpful and knowledgeable with getting started with searches. No charge to use the computers, family photo coping equipment for photos, slides, reel to reel. Thank you for your generosity and time.

  This is one of my favorite places! There are such helpful volunteers and everything you can imagine for researching and recording families and events. The whole environment is beautifully outfitted and the research is truly rewarding. They have every tool available, including 8mm to convert old home movies and scanners for my family photographs. At closing time my husband and I don't want to leave. Warning: It's addicting!

  This is the place in San Diego for family research and documentation. Numerous computers and plenty of genealogical experts to help with your search. The center has interactive technology to help better understand your ancestors, with a section specifically for those 8-18. Includes a child play area for those with small children. Projectors, interactive classroom, scanners, slide digitizer, 8mm and Super8 digitizer, and copy machine. All free of charge for those doing genealogy. Also, clean restrooms and a small kitchen to eat your sack lunch.
