  My partner and I just spent a week here. The staff were super-friendly and helpful, going above and beyond on the few requests we made. The breakfast is superb and includes real eggs and meat. The location is handy for Balboa Park and The Gaslamp Area. Would stay here again and consider it good value.

  The rooms are small, but very clean. Beds and pillows were comfortable. The manager was very helpful in directing us to good food and things to do. Staff was friendly and courteous. Cute little hotel in the middle of the city

  We checked in on April 3rd to the 5th. Check in was fast and woman at check in was really nice. Rooms are on the smaller side based on different Best Westerns that I have been too, but the room was really nice. Room had a fridge but it was not working, room also has no microwave. Location was great and building outside was cute. Terrace at the top was also nice. Good breakfast, small space inside but there are tables to eat at the patio I would definitely come back

  Shouldn't be a Best Western. When I stay at a BW I expect better. The front desk person when we checked in wasn't very friendly. No customer service skills. The room door opens into the parking lot so it's loud. And the room smelled really bad. It was coming from the HVAC unit. It was 100 degrees so we had to run it but it smelled like dirty feet. The bedding was old and of poor quality. Do better.

  Great hotel! It’s very nice, comfortable, and has everything you need. The continental breakfast was really good, and the staff were super friendly. We felt very well taken care of. I would definitely stay here again ✨️
