The front desk person was friendly. The room was clean . There was people in the pool. The house keeper was very polite to my special needs daughter. The only thing is they don't have black out curtains. There was light coming in the window.
Rated for the room and for the sense of whimsy who ever landscapes the place.
The room was standard Western nice. Only one sink in the bathroom. Tub/shower lacked the grab bars that would make someone my age feel secure stepping into and out of the deep tub. (Lost the '5' because of this.) Mini-fridge seemed larger than most.
Included breakfast had link sausage and scrambled eggs, but no potatoes or biscuits with gravy. Included all the other cold breakfast items
Ok, so pretty good, but I loved some of the whimsical touches on the grounds. A full size bird aviary (Parakeets and others) filled with happy chirping. (Be sure to look for the plaque at the base.) A Koi Pond filled with some real fatties. Multiple quirky water fountains made for a fun property.

Rating: 1/5 Stars – DISGUSTING, OVERPRICED, AND UNINHABITABLE
Do not stay here. It is an absolute scam. They are charging $150 a night in Red Bluff for what is essentially a bug-infested closet. This is pure price gouging and taking advantage of travelers who have nowhere else to go.
The moment we walked in, we were hit with a revolting, overwhelming smell that permeated the entire building. To make matters worse, there were millions of bugs all over the hotel. It felt like a health hazard just standing in the lobby.
Once we finally checked in, the nightmare continued:
• The Heat: The room was stiflingly hot. It took over two hours for the AC to bring the temperature down to a tolerable level.
• The Fridge: In a ridiculous attempt to "conserve energy," they keep the refrigerators turned off. So, if you have food or cold drinks, expect them to sit at room temperature while you wait for the appliance to actually start working.
• The Beds: You might as well sleep on the parking lot pavement. The beds were hard as a rock and completely uncomfortable.
This place is a disgrace. Save your money and your sanity—stay literally anywhere else. This "hotel" shouldn't be open for business.

They make good money at this place by double charging their guests. Be extremely cautious with your credit card. I stayed 1 night, was charged for 2. When I called to explain the situation I was told repeatedly that I was only charged one for $179 but my credit card was billed $348. They refused to help me or even listen when I called so now I have to go through the credit card company and attempt to have the charges reversed. Not to mention the smell in the room, I'm not sure if it was mold or just dust and dirt but it never really went away despite the windows being open for hours. This is the first, and last time I will be stating here

Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable, grounds were well maintained, showers have great water pressure and heat, breakfast was above average and every front desk person I met was very professional and helpful. I would absolutely stay here again if I was in the area. They even have a gym and pool.
