Clean rooms with breakfast included starting at 6:30am.
The rooms are a little too loud though.

Make sure you ask lala at the front desk for anything you need because she will go above and beyond to not only make sure you're comfortable but that you feel like you were being cared for and that's something you don't get at any other hotel

I had a package sent here last week and got it fine. I stayed here last year and this year staying again for a job. My name was on the last package and I got it no problem from a guy at the front desk that did not even know me. Scott, who I remember from last year, decided to reject my package today. Despite me telling him my name multiple times and telling him I have a package arriving. Everytime he is the one at the front desk he is on his phone and doesn’t see people standing right there waiting for help. Thanks for ruining my day today since now I have to waste my time with UPS and the merchant customer service line just because he couldn’t remember me saying I had a package arriving with my name. My bosses name is on the room and I am listed as a guest so it’s not like my name isn’t there at all… ALSO I TOLD HIM A PACKAGE WAS COMING. Horrible experience. Honestly the main reason I am so upset is because he laughed like this is a funny situation!

This this is one of the noisiest properties that we have stayed at in the BW Family. You are surrounded on both sides with a busy Hwy 580 freeway. The westside (Hopyard Rd) is a little quieter after our move from the eastside. The tip off was the earplugs on the night stand. We used the room fan for noise reduction.
The rooms were neat and tidy. All the room's amenities were in working order. I was surprised that the rooms have high definition televisions that don't use an HDMI Cable for a better picture.
The breakfast provided had a nice selection of hot and cold items. Even though it was busy the staff member kept it refreshed.
If we plan on a future stay at least we know what we're getting into...

As BW Diamond Members, I can honestly say the Best Western Plus in Pleasanton, CA, is the worst BW we've ever stayed at. When making the on-line reservation, we requested a quiet room not realizing this property is surrounded by a freeway, so there are no quiet rooms!
When we went to check in, the computers were down. The situation was chaotic but after about a 30 minute wait, the Lead gave us what he said is a "quiet room". This "quiet room" faced the freeway. We tried to call the front desk to inquire about a room on the other side of the building but we were put, and left, on hold. So we sucked it up and had a sleepless night. As an added irritant, the ONE pair of earplugs they leave on the nightstand was not helpful for two people.
The next morning at breakfast, we asked the Lead about switching rooms. He went into a canned speech about how the rooms on the other side of the building weren't anymore quiet and was completely dismissive of wanting to help. After a few minutes we approached him again and asked if we were to check out that day (a day early) if we'd be charged. He seemed shocked that we didn't want to stay. It was only after I said "We don't want another sleepless night and you aren't willing to move us to another room" that he offered to let us go check out a room on the other side of the building. This side has the on-ramp and off-ramp to the freeway. Still noisy but not quite as bad. There are about 5 rooms that are farthest away from the freeway but apparently they were full and the Lead couldn't, or wouldn't, tell us if one would be available later.
To sum it up, the hotel needs updating, the customer service needs work, you can tell it's a budget hotel by the clientele and the need for a security guard, but at least the breakfast was decent. So just be warned, it is extremely noisy and you will get no rest. Best to avoid this BW!
