Older hotel that needs maintenance. Wiring is older. Elevator is out of order.

Clean hotel; HOWEVER, the manager, Mary, was extremely rude and made what should have been a simple check-in experience very unpleasant. Overall, it was a horrible experience dealing with the front desk. We understand that we were attempting to check in early for an event and that our specific room type may not have been available yet. However, the lack of availability has nothing to do with providing basic courtesy and good customer service. The way we were treated was completely unnecessary and left a very negative impression of our stay.

Location is fair as it's close to US 50 making the rooms on that side a bit loud. Hot tub was not working. Breakfast was busy but very good. Super quick check-in. ATM in lobby. Restaurant in same parking lot. Shopping a short drive or moderate walk away. Friendly staff.

Got charged me an extra 300 dollars for 2 days wasn't even there. I canceled well before as well. I canceled my rooms because they were doing double bookings on rooms. Day 1! I walked into someone in a room. Day 2 someone walked into my room when I was in the shower. This raises a huge safety concern for people with kids and valuables. They need more training and better customer service. They won't even answer when I call them. I'm a federally employee and go to hotels quite often for work. I've never been to a worse hotel. I want my refund!
