  El manager que está durante el día es 0 agradable me hizo un cobro sin previo aviso, afortunadamente lo platique con la manager de la tarde y lo elimino. El hotel es bonito, limpio y muy bien ubicado no hay ruidos de carros.

  The front desk Hispanic girl really helped us when I double booked. The room was great, the staff were great, the parking excellent, everything was really good. One recommendation, and it’s just a recommendation, in such a beautiful hotel, I would stay away from such strong smelling cleaners like Fabuloso. Everywhere we walked, that’s what we smelled. I know many love the smell, but it smells cheap. I think that in a public places such as hotels, products such as broad spectrum disinfectants that are stronger but do not have such fragrance to them should be used. Just a suggestion. My family and I will always choose a Best Western Hotel over any other because we know we will always receive a comfortable stay.

  The room was ok for its price, however the service of the front desk was horrible. My wife was with two other children and a new born baby. She was breastfeeding at the time they were closing the dinning area for breakfast. She was over in the farthest point from the cleaning ladies and only needed 5 more minutes. The front desk guy said she had to leave right then. I was disgusted when I heard that he made her get up holding our baby still breastfeeding and move her and our other two kids and a stroller out of the area. Seriously, he could have waited and given a mother some space especially how she wasn't in the way of the other lady. None of the 3 front desk people that we interacted with gave a smile or were friendly in the slightest, however the two cleaning ladies that I passed by said "Good morning" and "Have a nice day" I was greatful for them but seems pretty backwards. We will not be staying here ever again.

  $40 extra to check in 45 minutes early!!!! What a joke. Who's stupid idea was that?! Now you'll just have a flood of people at 4pm. Not a smart idea!

  2/5 stars I was disappointed with my stay at the Best Western in Escondido. After we purchased food and placed it on the table in our room, we noticed small insects in our food. We then realized there were insects on the table as well. Unfortunately, we had to throw our food away. When I reported the issue to the front desk at checkout, I was told they were likely ants that come inside during the summer. While I understand insects can be more common during warmer weather, I have stayed in many hotels over the years and have never had insects get into food inside my room. We also found the pool and spa to be unclean during our stay, which added to our disappointment. Afterward, I contacted Best Western customer service hoping they would take my concerns seriously. I explained what had happened and what the front desk had told me. The representative said that explanation sounded reasonable. I was disappointed by the response because it didn’t address the fact that insects had gotten into our food inside the room. I ended the call feeling that my concerns had not been taken seriously. I hope the hotel and Best Western improve both the room conditions and how guest concerns are handled.
