  Incredible pricing for the value you receive. We had a room on the third floor and the views were breathtaking. It was so peaceful sitting out on the balcony and enjoying the sounds of the ocean. The room itself was clean. I appreciated having the mini fridge and microwave. The bathroom was nice, especially the shower. It was also quiet inside the room. We slept great and had no concerns or issues.

  This hotel is just delightful! It's built down into the hill so even though it's on the main street you get the feeling of being out of the city. The grounds are beautiful and lush with exotic plants everywhere. There's little nooks with tables and chairs scattered all over. Fountains here and there, you could hear the soothing sound from the room( with the patio door opened. No street noise when closed)The exterior had a cottage feel and the interior is beachy and welcoming. Everything was spotlessly clean. Lovely glass showers with all amenities. Big thick absorbent towels arranged just so. The bed, pillows and linens were scrupulously clean and comfortable. We stayed on the third floor, a little patio overlooking the garden/ pool area for coffee in the morning. The staff were all very nice and extremely helpful. You're less than a mile from beautiful Torrey pines Beach. Lots of local stores and restaurants. There's a mini fridge with freezer and a microwave with a couple cabinets and a closet with iron and ironing board. Also a blow dryer. 55 inch TV and a nice comfy chair with an ottoman as well as a desk and chair. REALLY can't say enough about this place. I'll stay there again for sure. (They are doing a little upgrading right now but it wasn't disturbing at all). Great value. Great stay. Thank you.

  This is a surprisingly nice hotel in a great location in Del Mar. Both front desk and housekeeping staff were very friendly. The place is clean and recently remodeled. Upkeep seems very good. The pool area is really nice. Great for relaxing - after a relaxing day at the beach! They have a little cafe where you can get drinks and some food. There's also a hot tub. The location is awesome - about a 15 minute walk into the heart of Del Mar and maybe a 20 minute walk to Del Mar Beach. Parking appeared to be ample and seemed safe behind the hotel. It is on a busy road (not a highway, but there's a lot of traffic going by during the day). Our room faced the pool and the road was on the other side. The room was well insulated and I believe the sliding glass door was double pained so when you shut it, it really blocked out the noise well. If you prefer a quieter view, opt for the oceanside rooms. They are priced a little more and not spectacular because they face the parking lot and some other buildings and then the ocean. But it's quieter on that side. Either way, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.
