We would not stay here again. The rooms were decent, with lots of cubbies for storage and a large TV. You can sign into your own Netflix and other accounts, but it's a very slow interface, and the show is often grainy. The bed was very uncomfortable. It was hard, pillows were old and flat, and the bedding was an old school blanket between 2 sheets. Very itchy. The bathroom needed updating. Old school sink and step-in tub/shower with a horrible showerhead. Thankfully the room and bathroom were both clean, though the toilet had issues flushing. The coffee maker was terrible. It made dirty water with almost no coffee in it. I had hoped they would provide coffee in the lobby all day, but no. It ends with the breakfast at 10:00 am. Breakfast was real eggs (scrambled), sausage, oatmeal, bagels, cereal, yogurt, fruit, and make your own pancakes. We only ate there once since it was just okay. The hotel has very low ceilings in the hallways. Kinda weird. The restaurant is only open on weekends and has a very limited menu. Parking is $20 per night with a cap of $60 per stay. The EV chargers are technically included in your parking fee, but only if they are available for use. Most of the time non-EVs were parked there. Very obnoxious. And the front desk doesn't care. They don't enforce it. Why have signs and special charging spots if you won't enforce it? The 2 older ladies at the front desk said they have no way to find the vehicle owners. They ask for the make and model of your car upon arrival, but said you can refuse. What? Then they obviously don't enforce parking either. I gave them the car info of those vehicles parked there, but they said they probably couldn't locate them. They didn't seem to care that we asked to charge our car but we're not able to. Good location in walking distance from Goldsmith's bike rentals and the Alpine Pedal Path. Most of the room balconies look over old, run-down cabins nextdoor. Not a nice view. They do have a walking path behind the hotel that goes through some trees. They advertise this location as a specialty Best Western, but it's not. The only thing different is the nicer looking lobby area. Beyond that, it's barely above a motel.

Wonderful getaway spot for a weekend in the mountains. A beautiful building inside and out. The location on Moonridge Road is perfect, outside the bustle of the town center on a quiet peaceful street adjacent to woods, but a short drive or moderately long walk to the lake and town center. Best of both worlds. Rooms are nice some with fireplaces and balconies. Better coffee makers in the rooms would be nice for early risers. Keurig machines would be a huge improvement. On the other hand, breakfast and coffee are available at 7 AM in the dining room. Plus, the fabulous Moonridge Coffee Company is less than a mile away. Finally, throughout the building, there are delightfully quirky paintings of wild animals wearing human clothes lounging on chairs, drinking cocktails, smoking long handled cigarettes, posing as if they're aristocrats of a bygone era. It's worth visiting just for the paintings.

This hotel was a little bit away from the Village Shops so it was a bit more quiet and calm. Check in was smooth and the receptionist was extremely accommodating with my family. Very quiet and clean hotel with a great game room and pool setting that allows for relaxation. Would absolutely stay at this hotel again.

We stayed here for four nights in June. Really enjoyed ourselves! This is a beautiful, beautiful hotel. Beautiful grounds, beautiful decor. Stunning outdoor pool and Jacuzzi area was tall beautiful pine trees everywhere. Very large spacious game room with a cozy fireplace, ping-pong, table, billiards, foosball, and ice hockey. Right on the first floor, conveniently located by the Jacuzzi and pool area and ice machine. Rooms were very tidy and clean and smelled refreshing. Mattresses were not as comfortable as I would like. A bit soft and not supportive. The TV was a bit difficult to figure out, but we finally did. You can login with your own credentials on streaming apps otherwise you just have basic channels. They give you shampoo conditioner, and shower gel you can dispense in the shower. You get a little bottle of lotion and a little bar of soap. Two rolls of toilet paper and in the Kleenex dispenser, I could swear there may be 10 or 15 Kleenexes in their maximum. They had to switch us to another room because of a leak in the toilet and the same 10 or 12 Kleenexes were in the dispenser. If you want room service, you have to pay for it which I find disturbing. They also charge for parking which is not great. They have a huge parking lot so I’m sure they’re making a lot of money. I just think they shouldn’t charge their customers for that. Beautiful interior and the breakfast room which they serve every morning from 7 AM till 10 AM was fantastic. Warm muffins come out scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, potatoes, oatmeal station. Yogurt, fruit, and a little pancake station you can make your own. Beautiful chandeliers on the ceiling. Nice large entry in the lobby. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. They have a lovely restaurant named Tiffany’s bistro off of the lobby with live music and happy hour and that’s a lot of fun when they’re open on a Friday or Saturday night at 4 PM. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. If it weren’t for the charges of the parking as well as to have room service, we would definitely be back but these times are hard and every little bit counts.
