This hotel is very average and there is a lot of construction and loud noises and smells. It is convenient to walk to and from convention center and disneyland. They do offer free breakfast but nothing is hot and the staff are the nicest people. It is a very good deal for the location, the hot tub is nice. If you're like me and you just want a place to sleep and nothing luxury or fancy, this hotel is perfect.
PS: your night guy locks the door to the lobby and doesnt let anyone in.
I stayed here before 8 years ago and had a great experience. Unfortunately, I can’t say the same about this stay.
It all started on check in when I was informed there was no hot breakfast. I was told there was a notice on the website about it. The “notice” on the site says “Breakfast Room and Guest Laundry are currently under renovation. Breakfast Buffet is still being served in a temporary location with dining located pool side.” Nowhere in this notice does it say anything about there not being hot breakfast available. Did some research and this has been going on for 7+ months. You’d think they’d make it very clear this was the case when this has been an issue for so long. The breakfast spread is sugar, bread and more sugar.
When we got to the room the AC unit didn’t work. I called to the front desk and was transferred to a manager. I was told they knew the AC was broke. So they decided to just not say anything about it at check in and just hope we wouldn’t notice. When I did bring it up to the manager, I was met with some serious attitude. I was finally offered a fan - which was a small Amazon basic unit that barely blew any air.
The fun continued when the Mini fridge may as well of been a cabinet. It couldn’t even keep leftovers cool. The “freezer” section that I hoped would be able to at least keep an ice pack cold enough for a cooler bag was like warm at best. I called back to the front desk where maintenance came back. They came in and looked at the fridge. They said it seemed to be working because it was plugged in. I had to show them the water on the freezer unit and have them feel the side of the interior of the fridge to see that it wasn’t cold at all. They did end up replacing the fridge after I insisted.
The WiFi signal was terrible. This isn’t a big deal but just another failure to deliver on an amenity you would assume would be provided.
The topper on the cake is I was offered a discount on my stay based on all the issues. The manager told me she had applied the discount to my final bill. Shocker - she I checked out snd got my final bill there wasn’t any discount.
Disappointing because the location and layout of the room was good. Too bad the management was horrible, treated us like we were doing them a disservice and blatantly lied to us about a discount. Good luck if you book here. They couldn’t care less about you, they are close enough to Disney that people will still book irregardless of their horrible customer service.
Edit: the manager responds with a generic “if we can be of further assistance let us know” message similar to this response. I let her know that I expect the discount I was promised. Radio silence. No response. Just know that when you they provide a terrible experience and “promise” you compensation that it’s all complete BS. They don’t honor their word and just blatantly lie. They don’t care about you because they are close enough to Disney that they will sell rooms regardless. Trust me, there are way better options around Disney than this dishonest place.
Our room was infested with ants coming from the shower drain and ac unit. When we asked the front desk to resolve the issue, maintenance came with heavy duty pesticides insisting they spray it while we were in the room. Management refunded us for the last night we did not stay in the room, but refused to give us a discount for the inconvenience of us having to move rooms. extremely disappointed in the quality of the room for having paid upwards of $300 a night.

Only stayed 1 night. There were continuous ants in the bathroom which was very frustrating. The rooms are entirely tile/wood so it keeps the rooms on the colder side. The rooms were really nice and the beds were quite comfortable too. The location was pretty close to the toy story parking lot so you can pretty easily walk there and not have to pay for disney parking. There was still construction going on but it largely wasn't an issue even with our room being very close to it. The breakfast was almost entirely packaged items but they had it set up very nice. There were quite a few options and overall was a pretty good little breakfast. It was especially good that it was packaged items because you could take them on the go as you walk to the Disney bus.
