  The room was clean; however, the desk chair was disappointing and far below the standards we expect from Best Western. If this is acceptable, makes you wonder what else is "acceptable" with regards to maintenance and cleaning standards. I did bring it to the manager's attention and she apologized, while also stating they are currently doing room upgrades. I appreciate that, but this chair should have been sent to the dump a long time ago.

  I just flew in from Guam for training with Caterpillar and of course I'm jet lagged. I have a king bed room and apparently the room next to mine has a family in it with kids screaming at midnight. I've had good experience with Best Western at other locations, but this hotel is very dated and having connecting room doors allows so much sound to go through the walls and interrupts sleep of neighboring rooms. We send people to this training site often, and this inconvenience will have me recommending a different hotel for them.

  Very nice place, stayed 1 night before birding Madera canyon . Well kept facility and all amenities were in good order. The included breakfast was served via sit down restaurant. A nice touch above the usual self serve continental, Be aware doesn’t open/start until 7:30 so if you’re goal is to hit the canyon/ birds at first light plan otherwise. We enjoyed it and still got plenty of time & sights at canyon. Small local new/used bookstore next store was nice stop also. Yes we’d recommend and would stay again if itinerary dictates.

  The staff here was nice but be aware that there is a serious cockroach infestation at this property as of May 2026 and perhaps consider booking at a different property. There were cockroaches visible in the parking lot, around the building perimeter (including near the adjacent restaurant), in the lobby, hallways, and in my room. I am not sure there is anything being done to control this.

  The bedding was dirty, the beds headboards were very dirty with dust. Makes me wonder if the air conditioner needed its filter changed, and didnt matter where you put the lever for the shower or the sink there was No Hot Water. Also there was no exhaust fan in the bathroom. There was a switch for one but doesnt seem to be plugged into a fan. The floors were dirty our feet were black when barefoot. The breakfast wasnt all that. It tasted like yesterdays food just reheated. The biscuits (were very hard) & grave and felt like they were made the day before and just heated up again. The homestyle potatoes seemed to have been cooked twice like they were leftovers from the day before and tasted like it too. We chose to not have the free breakfast again and went elsewhere. The dresser drawer was broken too. We wont be going back to this hotel.
