We do offer different trucks at the branch. There is a lot of parking spots belonging to the rental office. The branch is located by the road. There is a key drop available at the gas station close by. All credit cards from internationally recognized credit card companies - such as American Express, Eurocard/Mastercard, Diners Club and Visa are acceptable as payment methods whereas all prepaid and debit cards (Visa Electron) are not accepted. The payment method must have been issued in the name of the driver. This must be presented at the time of vehicle pick-up and be valid at this time. The renter must be the owner of the indicated creditcard.

    I have rented cars from Sixt many times in a short period of time for Buisness, and almost every single time I paid for their expensive protection/insurance just to avoid problems. Unsurprisingly, everything was always “fine”. The one time I decided not to take the extra protection, suddenly there were multiple “damage claims”. After returning the car, Sixt Trondheim came back with claims for damage that we absolutely did NOT cause. There was zero transparency about when this supposed damage was discovered. Nothing was mentioned during the return process, no proper inspection, and only later they suddenly claim the vehicle was damaged during our rental. The amount they are claiming is also ridiculously high and completely disproportionate to the alleged damage. What makes this even worse is that they have already withheld the money while we are still disputing the claim. The case is still under discussion, yet they decided to take the payment anyway. It honestly feels like the moment you don’t buy their additional insurance, they start looking for anything they can charge you for. After many rentals with Sixt, this experience has completely destroyed my trust in the company. If you rent here, document absolutely everything with photos and videos — or better yet, choose another rental company. Very disappointing and extremely untrustworthy experience.

    Har leid her et par ganger og alt har gått som planlagt. Forrige gang ble vi oppgradert til en XC60 uten ekstra kostnad. Hyggelige ansatte og fine biler. 👍 + Du kan betale egenandel med debit-kort

    I can only strongly warn against renting here. In my case, I declined an additional insurance since I had one of my broker service. They exploited this by pinning me multiple pre existing damages (even UNDER the car!) of about 1000eur which I did not cause. And as if that is not enough, they then changed the terms of the payment without any notice, wait for 5 months and now a debt collecting service charges additional fees of 300eur. This is downright fraud.

    Wir haben unser Fahrzeug in Trondheim (Norwegen) am Flughafen abgeholt. Grundsätzlich hat alles super funktioniert, jedoch wurde uns nicht einmal das Fahrezeug gezeigt. Wir mussten es selber im Parkhaus suchen gehen. Des Weiteren wurde uns nichts vom Auto erklärt, wir mussten uns also selber schlau machen. Als wir nach 2 Wochen in Bodo angekommen sind, haben wir unser Auto um 21:15 am Flughafen abgegeben. Wir wussten nicht wo hin, da niemand da war. Dazu kommt noch, dass wir am nächsten Tag NOCHMALS extra zum Flughafen mussten, damit wir den Autoschlüssel abgeben konnten. Der Flughafen hat nämlich am Abend geschlossen, was uns nicht mitgeteilt wurde. Was ich auch etwas merkwürdig finde, wir haben das restliche Guthaben von unserem Autopass nie zurückerstattet bekommen. Die Kommunikation und der Service von SIXT war leider wirklich gut. Finde ich schade.
