  Had a very good experience with Sixt car pick up at Leknes airport. The pick up was smooth with the airport counter being open on Sunday afternoon . The person at the counter explained all charges clearly. The car was very clean and in good condition. We had picked up a Toyota Corolla cross which was an upgrade from what we had booked. ( Toyota Yaris Cross). The car was picked ip from the airport parking itself so no waiting. The return was a key drop off into the key box at the counter. The charges in the final bill was as explained at pickup. Overall it was a very good experience

  We had a very positive experience with Sixt Svolvær. The car pick-up was smooth and flawless, and the owner was very clear, friendly, and helpful. The Toyota Yaris Cross Hybrid was perfect for our trip and a great choice for exploring Lofoten Islands comfortably. Whenever we had any questions, we received quick and helpful replies by email. I would definitely use their service again in the future. Highly recommended!

  I had a very disappointing experience with SIXT in Norway. I rented a car for just one day, and after signing the rental agreement, I asked the employee if I could return it at Harstad/Narvik Airport instead of the original location. His answer was simply, "No problem." There was no mention of any additional charge, no updated price, and nothing to sign or approve. A few days later, I discovered I had been charged a 5500 NOK one-way fee—more than three times the rental price itself. If I had been told about this fee, I would have returned the car to the original location without hesitation. A charge this significant should never come as a surprise. Customers deserve clear and transparent information before making a decision, especially when they explicitly ask about changing the return location. I hope SIXT investigates this case and improves how these situations are handled in the future.
