Great service and very friendly. Got an upgrade and practically new car.
They are currently putting a new system in place where you can do everything on your mobile just after touchdown. And then go to the car park straight away "avoiding the queues".
But it seems that the mother company has not yet managed to put the pick up facility in place up at the carpark.
So there is some disappointment as one still has to queue despite the mobile checkin.
Hope SIXT will sort that out soon. Because that sounds like an even better service.
Avoid this company at all costs! We pre-booked a car through our credit card company for pickup at London Heathrow. From a combination of our travel fatigue and a smooth talking agent, we were upcharged over $700 for a vehicle upgrade and a “premium pickup location” fee when we stopped at a SIXT desk to ask for assistance in locating our reserved car. The agent offered his help and began to process our rental without ever verbally disclosing the additional charges. When the SIXT agent handed us the contract for our signature, we wrongly assumed the contract was a continuation of our existing reservation, and signed without reading it. Definitely our mistake! But the fact that these charges were never verbally disclosed and agreed to prior to presenting a contract for signature was intentionally deceptive.
Great experience right from the start Gustavo at LHR T2 was a diamond. Dropping off the car was a brilliant experience too, so simple and easy to follow instructions. Most definitely, will use again!

Sonia was absolutely lovely. I had met her before when my partner rented a car through Sixt, and this time she went out of her way to arrange the same car I had previously, which I loved. She was friendly, professional, and incredibly helpful throughout the whole process. Her excellent customer service made the experience smooth and enjoyable. Thank you, Sonia—I really appreciate your help, and I hope our paths cross again in the future.
The location for Sixt is its best feature. Being right outside the baggage claim is fantastic.
We arrived about 40 minutes earlier than our reservation and they didn't have our car available. The issue is that the only replacements were up charges which feels slimy.
