Expérience minable ! Nous avons loué une mini cooper pour la journee, 8h -> 23h30. L'accueil et la prise en main assez facile mais comme toujours, c'est quand on a un souci qu'on voit si l'entreprise tient la route. Lors de notre excursion, sur une voie à 50 miles, un gros trou au milieu de la route fait creuver notre pneu. Il est 9h30, il n'y a pas de roue de secours dans la voiture. Un dépanneur (gentil) est venu au bout de 5h de combat avec "l'assistance" (qui nous a baladé de services en services, parfois en Écosse, parfois en Inde) pour nous annoncer que la jante etait déformée et qu'il ne pouvait rien faire. Il repart. Encore plus de 2h au téléphone pour essayer de savoir si quelqu'un va venir chercher la voiture, si on va avoir une voiture de remplacement ou un taxi pour nous ramener. Personne ne veut s'occuper de votre cas. Apres plus de 7h dans la voiture et un début de manque de patience, ils nous annoncent qu'un taxi vient finalement. Encore 1h d'attente. Nous sommes donc rentrées 20h d'une journée minable , uniquement parce que l'assistance ne fait pas son boulot et qu'il n'y avait pas de roue de secours. Vraiment les nerfs. Petit supplément, le taxi nous a emmené à l'autre bout d'Edeimbourg car il s'est trompé de Sixt. Bref, experience NULLE.

I had a wonderful experience renting the car from SIXT. I was welcomed by Enzo in Edinburgh who patiently showed me cars that would fulfil my need. This is my third time renting from SIXT. Will continue to do so in the future !!!
This was my second time using SIXT, following a previous rental in Rome. What I appreciate most about SIXT is the high quality of the vehicles, as well as the smooth reservation and check-in/check-out process through the app and website.
For our day trip from Edinburgh to the Highlands, I had reserved a compact car similar to a VW Golf, as it was just my wife and me and we had no luggage. When we arrived slightly before our 8:00 a.m. reservation, the staff member, Dan, asked about our destination. As soon as he heard we were heading to the Highlands, he suggested that a larger and more comfortable vehicle would be better suited to the roads and kindly offered us a complimentary upgrade to a BMW 3 Series.
The result was fantastic. Our drive of more than 400 miles was incredibly comfortable, and we were able to fully enjoy the breathtaking scenery of the Scottish Highlands in a wonderful vehicle.
The return process was equally smooth, even though we dropped the car off outside business hours. By early the next morning, I had already received a detailed return confirmation by email, which was clear and reassuring.
A special thank you to Dan for helping make our trip to Scotland such a memorable experience. His thoughtfulness and excellent customer service truly enhanced our journey.

Drop off after hours was easy. However, false damage was claimed the next day. Luckily, I had taken photos of the vehicle and disputed successfully. If returning after hours, take full photos to protect yourself. Very disappointed with this experience, otherwise it would have been excellent. 550 miles from London to Edinburgh in a brand new 5 series wagon.
