Am 1. April 1925 gründete Gustav Heinitz auf der Kornstraße 28 in Lommatzsch einen Dachdeckerbetrieb mit 3 Beschäftigten.
1951 übernahm Rudolf Heinitz nach bestandener Meisterprüfung den Betrieb und erweiterte Ihn auf ca. 10 Beschäftigte. Dieser gut funktionierende Handwerksbetrieb bildete die Grundlage für den Sohn Frank Heinitz, welcher 1984 den väterlichen Betrieb übernahm.
Im Jahre 2013 übernahm Sohn René die Firma. Diese wurde nun in die Dachdecker Heinitz GmbH & Co. KG umfirmiert. Im Betrieb sind ausschließlich Fachkräfte beschäftigt, welche den heutigen Anforderungen an Fachkompetenz voll gerecht werden.
