Die Vision unserer Arbeit heisst "Gesundheitsversorgung für alle“. Unter Gesundheit verstehen wir das körperliche, seelische und soziale Wohlbefinden. Geschichte Am 9. Dez. 1937 wurde die Centrale Sanitaire Suisse CSS in Zürich gegründet - zur Zeit des Spanischen Bürgerkrieges. Sie organisierte als schweizerischer Sektion der Centrale Sanitaire Internationale medizinische Hilfe für das republikanische Spanien.
2002 beschliesst die deutschweizerische Sektion der CSS, mit neuem Logo und Namen aufzutreten: medico international schweiz, vormals Centrale Sanitaire Suisse, wird als neuer Verein gegründet.
