  I have always appreciated the Crowne Plaza brand for its well-appointed rooms and refined experience, and this hotel did not disappoint. The room was small by North American standards but quite typical for the local market. It was well appointed, with a comfortable bed and excellent climate control, making for a very comfortable stay. Service was consistently good. The front desk staff were helpful and pleasant, as were the bartender and restaurant staff. The hotel is also conveniently located within walking distance of Albisriederplatz, with easy access to buses and trams. Getting to and from Zurich Airport by public transportation is straightforward. Overall, this property delivered the comfortable, helpful, and polished experience I have come to expect from Crowne Plaza, and I enjoyed my stay.

  A returning guest — and another wonderful week at Crowne Plaza Zurich. I have stayed at Crowne Plaza Zurich before and this time I chose to return for an entire week. During my stay, I also invited a dear longtime friend visiting from Greece as well as some of my Swiss friends, because I already knew the hotel and felt comfortable recommending it to people close to me. Everything during the week was excellent and easy. The room was comfortable, the atmosphere pleasant and having the restaurant and wellness facilities directly inside the hotel made the stay especially convenient. A very special mention goes to Fourtwenty Restaurant & Bar. I ate there several times and was genuinely impressed. The food was fresh, beautifully presented and consistently delicious. The Caesar salad with grilled chicken was honestly one of the best Caesar salads I have ever had — generous, fresh and full of flavour. I also want to personally thank Davin, the beautiful young lady who served me. She was warm, attentive and extremely helpful. When I had to leave for Bahnhofstrasse for two treatments at Dermanence with Dr. med. Lea Wiederkehr, Davin kindly arranged to keep my remaining food safely in the refrigerator until I returned. Such a simple gesture, but exactly the kind of thoughtful service that makes a guest feel genuinely cared for. I also really appreciated the wellness area and used the sauna, contrast showers and relaxation facilities throughout my stay. It was wonderful having everything in one place. After a full week, I can say that the experience was consistently positive and it was lovely being able to welcome both my Greek and Swiss friends somewhere I already trusted. Thank you to the entire Crowne Plaza Zurich team and especially Davin and the team at Fourtwenty Restaurant & Bar, for making my stay so enjoyable. As a returning guest, I would happily come back again. Highly recommended. 🤍✨

  I was here for work for two night, Overall stay was ok, not sure I will stay again. Pro's: Good location Gym is EXCELLENT! Restaurant has a good choice of food and not badly priced Con's: Room smelt. Very musty and the best description is that is smelt of cigarettes event though it's a none smoking hotel. First day the shower was very cold but second day it was boiling so not sure what happened there. Reception staff provided poor service. Gave me the wrong opening times for the gym, no nice friendly welcome, no asking about your stay and didn't care about my feedback at all.

  y disappointing experience – poor customer service Unfortunately, my experience at Crowne Plaza Zurich was very disappointing, mainly because of the way I was treated by the front desk during check-out. I had informed the hotel in advance that my arrival would be delayed by one day and accepted the loss of the first night. I eventually checked in normally and stayed at the hotel. On the day of check-out, I returned at around 4:00 PM due to a train delay and asked for a short late check-out to collect my luggage. Instead, I was asked to pay for an additional night, then CHF 60 for a children’s bed, and later CHF 25 for the delay. When I refused the disputed charges, the receptionist threatened to call the police. I eventually paid CHF 25 simply to avoid further confrontation and leave the hotel with my daughter. What was most upsetting was not the amount of money, but the way I was treated and the lack of professionalism and respect. I also felt uncomfortable and singled out during the interaction because I wear a hijab. I expected much better from a Crowne Plaza property. The way a guest is treated matters just as much as the room itself. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this hotel based on my experience.

  Great hotel right outside of Old Town! The location was very convenient, and we were able to scooter pretty much everywhere from here, which made getting around both fun and easy. We were also SO happy to have air conditioning after spending multiple nights at hotels without AC! It made such a difference, especially after being out exploring all day. Check-in was smooth and quick. The woman who helped us was very nice and welcoming and got us checked in right away. The room was a decent size, clean, and had a nice, functional layout with plenty of space to set down and organize our belongings. The bed was comfortable, and most importantly, we slept really well! My only complaint about the room was the shower. It has one of those half-glass shower doors, and if the water pressure was turned up all the way, water would splash outside of the shower area and make its way into the bathroom/bedroom area. We had to be a little careful with it, but it was a relatively minor inconvenience. Otherwise, we had a great stay! The room was clean and comfortable, the AC was very much appreciated, and the location made it easy to get around and explore Zurich. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a comfortable hotel just outside of Old Town.
