  Excellent hotel! Gorgeous suite with Matterhorn views, and everything was pristine. Wonderful service at the front desk, bar, and breakfast areas. Do yourself a favor and make this your hotel choice in Zermatt!

  The Matterhorn FOCUS Design Hotel is a perfect place to stay if you want to be located steps away from the Matterhorn Express lift station. The hotel is very nice and well-kept and the staff is exceptionally welcoming. It is a short walk to the main village area. The hotel includes a nice indoor/outdoor pool, a bar with food and beverages, and a full breakfast included. This is a great option to explore all that Zermatt has to offer and enjoy luxury amenities with a true boutique feel.

  Our stay at Matterhorn FOCUS Design Hotel from 28-30 June 2026 was one of the highlights of our Switzerland trip. We arrived around 8–9pm after being caught in a thunderstorm during our hike to the Charles Kuonen Suspension Bridge, followed by train cancellations from Randa to Zermatt due to a mudslide. We were exhausted after a long day, so the warm welcome from Suzanna (the bubbly lady with the short spunky blonde curly hair) immediately brightened up our night! She greeted us with the biggest smile and said, "We have a surprise for you... today might be your lucky day after all!"🤩 That surprise turned out to be a complimentary upgrade to a beautiful suite with an unobstructed Matterhorn view. The suite is stunning - stylish, cosy and tastefully designed with its glass-house concept. A heartfelt thank you to Christian Noti and Patrizia Gasser for your generosity and the thoughtful upgrade. We also loved the handwritten welcome card in our room - a simple gesture, but it meant so much. I brought it back to Singapore together with the cute Matterhorn-shaped water bottle that one of the reception staff gave us; these little personalized touches will always stay with us. Breakfast was another highlight. Instead of a typical widespread variety buffet - everything was thoughtfully curated and of exceptional quality. I especially loved the homemade rolled oats with yogurt, honey and nuts. A special thank you to the amazing breakfast lady who seemed to do everything herself while always staying attentive. She is truly a superwoman! Thank you to the entire Matterhorn Focus team for your genuine warmth and hospitality - sometimes it's not the luxury that people remember most, but how you make them feel🥰 You made us feel truly welcomed and cared for. Matterhorn Focus will always have a special place in our hearts. ❤️

  Wunderschönes Hotel in Zermatt direkt neben der Talstation vom Matterhorn Express. Das Zimmer war traumhaft, sehr stylish eingerichtet.

  This hotel is so nice—modern and well-kept! The room and bathroom are fantastic. The pool is perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring Zermatt. The staff were super friendly and helpful. I’m definitely coming back. Don’t worry about the location near the gondola; it’s actually quite isolated, and you’re super close to your next adventure.
