Overall, I had a good stay. The room was clean, comfortable and had excellent air conditioning, which was very welcome in the summer heat. I also slept very well, so the hotel itself met my expectations.
Unfortunately, my experience at breakfast on my last morning left a disappointing final impression.
Breakfast is advertised as finishing at 10:00, and I completely understand that staff need to start clearing away at that time. However, I was still seated in the breakfast area (and was the only guest there) when the coffee station was removed at around 10:05 without anyone asking if I would like one last coffee before they cleared it away.
When I politely asked about it, Bruno simply repeated that breakfast finishes at 10:00 and suggested I could buy a coffee from the vending machine instead. What disappointed me wasn’t the policy itself, but the lack of empathy or customer service. A simple “I’m sorry” or “Would you like one last coffee before we clear this away?” would have completely changed the experience.
I then spoke to the receptionist, Linda, hoping to provide feedback, but unfortunately I received a very similar response. Rather than acknowledging my disappointment, the policy was repeated again, and I left feeling that my concerns weren’t really being heard.
In my experience, many hotels check with guests who are still seated before clearing away the breakfast buffet. I wasn’t expecting the breakfast hours to be extended, just the simple courtesy of asking whether I would like one last coffee before everything was removed.
Good customer service isn’t about making exceptions to the rules—it’s about listening, showing empathy and making guests feel valued. The room and facilities were very good, but the way this situation was handled left an unnecessarily negative impression. It’s a small incident, but it was the last interaction before checking out, so it unfortunately became the lasting memory of an otherwise pleasant stay.

Välordnat Hotel som ligger vid bostadsområde. Gym och restauranger finns nära inpå (150m ca).
Bra rum i fin standard.
Nackdel är att det är långt att gå in till stan (ca 35 min). Busshållplats alldeles utanför.
Nära till motorvägen.

Ruime, nette, moderne kamer met airco, uitstekende faciliteiten. Dikke pluim voor het vriendelijk, behulpzaam personeel. Enige nadeel is de locatie hoewel je op een klein half uurtje wandelen in het centrum bent. En eventueel voorziening warme drank op de kamer, daarvoor moest je naar de lobby.
Last two years was quite good for a night.
But last time was quite awful.
The smell in the room was horrible, I couldn't sleep well because of it.
And the breakfast was way too small. This is the first time that I complain of a breakfast in a hotel.
