  This place has both good and bad aspects. The good: the setting/location is beautiful. Price is not bad for a hostel. The main building is well equipped, and the on-site food is excellent and decently priced (hey it’s Switzerland after all). The bad: room cleanliness is hit and miss (at least in the other separate building). We rented two rooms for all of us, one room was OK (small and almost nowhere to hang anything, but at least relatively clean), the other room (next to it) was plain disgusting with snot and nose hair on the walls. Did the housekeeping folks miss it? No idea. Even when we reported it to the front desk, and all rooms had the daily cleaning, this room again didn’t get much attention, just the bed was made but walls still as dirty as before. So overall a mixed experience. Also, don’t follow Google Maps’ shortest (default) walking route from the Celigny village if you have luggage with you (we walked from the bus stop), the path is through trails and fields. Take a taxi/Uber or walk the roads.

  Das Hotel befindet sich in einem sehr schönen historischen Anwesen, einem ehemaligen Chateau. Im Garten um das Chateau kann man mitten in der Natur herrlich entspannen und hat einen wunderbaren Blick in die Berge und auf den Genfer See. Der Empfang und der Service sind sehr freundlich. Die Zimmer sind recht nüchtern, aber es fehlt an nichts. Mir war die Matratze etwas zu weich, aber das ist Geschmackssache. Ich war in einem Nebengebäude untergebracht, dass nur wenige Minuten zu Fuß oder mit dem Auto 1 Minute vom Haupthaus entfernt lag. Das Frühstück war in Ordnung, verschiedene Sorten Wurst und Käse, Müsli, Obst und gekochte Eier. Abends kann man dort für einen sehr angemessenen Preis von 22 Schweizer Franken ein schmackhaftes Abendessen einnehmen, bestehend aus einem Salatbuffet, einem Fisch- oder Fleischgericht und einem Nachtisch. Für Schweizer Verhältnisse ist alles preislich sehr akzeptabel und ich kann diese Unterkunft wirklich empfehlen und würde sie jederzeit wieder buchen. Bis zur Messe oder dem Flughafen sind es mit dem Auto ca 15 bis 20 Minuten, je nach Verkehrslage.

  Hat mir gut gefallen - hatte ein Zimmer mit eigenem Bad. Ist hier aber nicht Standard.
