  The location and the views from the rooms are excellent. The breakfast area and the breakfast itself are also very nice a d tasty. The rooms are clean. The hotel is quite old, and it seems some areas have been preserved in their original condition. However, don’t expect a classic full service hotel everything is quite minimal. I assume not all rooms have the same issues, but we experienced a series of unfortunate problems during our stay. The night we stayed, the temperature was around 5°C: • There are radiators in the room, but they were not working. • There is also a split air conditioner, but you can’t adjust it was fixed at +32°C, which made the room uncomfortably hot. • When I informed the reception, they said the AC is for summer and advised us to open the radiator valves. We did, but the room still didn’t heat up. • The cold water tap in the shower was not working; after some effort, I managed to fix it. • If you want slippers, you need to request and pick them up from the reception. Despite all this, I would still consider staying again for the location and the view hoping to be a bit luckier next time.

  Mega schöne Aussicht (Zimmer mit Seeblick), aber sehr teuer. Frühstück war okay, aber nichts besonderes und kaum etwas selbst gemacht, alles fertig eingekauft und Brötchen (Aufbachbrötchen und Gipfeli) sehr trocken. Zimmer war okay, Dusche (in Badewanne) extrem eng und Wasserhahn war nicht dicht und hat gespritzt. Gab keinen Parkplatz und haben schlussendlich fast 30.- CHF für eine Nacht im Parkhaus des Kunstmuseums bezahlt (5min laufen weg und war recht eng).

  Love staff who served us, a Philippino I think? Nice cosy rooms although quite small and it was hard to pack our luggages! Breakfast was a good spread! Lovely!
