Das klingende Museum beherbergt eine der weltweit grössten Sammlungen von Schweizer Musikdosen und eine vielfältige Auswahl an Musikautomaten aus den vergangenen Jahrhunderten. Ein Abstecher in den Museumsshop und ins Restaurant runden den klingenden Museumsbesuch ab.
Mehrmals täglich werden Führungen durch die Ausstellung angeboten. Die Führung ist im Eintrittspreis inbegriffen und führt durch verschiedene Säle, in welchen die Besucher nicht nur von den Klängen der Musikautomaten verzaubert werden.

- MLMartin LeimerMay 17, 20265.0Tolles Musikautomatenmuseum. Unbedingt der kostenlosen Führung beiwohnen, da man dann Exponate auch direkt anhören kann, was wirklich ein Erlebnis ist. Die Erreichbarkeit per öV ist in Ordnung - sie war mal besser, aber die Kosten die Postauto für den Erhalt der ÖV-Haltestelle vor dem Gebäude verlangte sind angeblich auf über 55'000 CHF pro Jahr gestiegen für gerade mal einen stündlichen Halt pro Tag. Da kann ich gut nachvollziehen, dass das Museum nicht mehr bereit war den öV für diese Haltestelle quer zu finanzieren. Der Fussweg vom Zelgli hoch ist idyllisch, aber mit sehr grossen Steigungen verbunden. Die Anfahrt per Auto ist daher sicherlich gemütlicher.
