Im September 2018 wurde die TEC2 AG durch Andreas Durrer und Lukas Vogel gegründet. Die TEC2 AG durfte während ihrer Gründer- und Startzeit als Untermieterin der Hälg AG in Ebikon die Büroräumlichkeiten mitnutzen. Zwei Jahre später zog die TEC2 AG aufgrund der Firmenexpansion und Platzverhältnisse in die Liegenschaft Dorfstrasse 23 in Ebikon sowie im Jahr 2023 in die Liegenschaft vom Löwencenter an die Zürichstrasse 9 in Luzern.
