Die Firma wurde 1934 von Giovanni Fedi gegründet und im Sommer arbeitete er mit 3 – 4 Mitarbeitern. Die Arbeit wurde für 1.- Fr. in der Stunde verrechnet. Oft wurde mit Käse entlöhnt, heute kaum vorstellbar. 1966 stieg sein Sohn Ilario in die Firma ein, welcher das Geschäft 1978 nach dem plötzlichen Tod des Vaters übernahm. Seit 2008 leitet nun Gian Reto Fedi das Baugeschäft, in dem er seit 1987 mitgearbeitet hat. Bei der traditionsreichen Baufirma Fedi sind momentan zwischen 22 und 25 Arbeiter angestellt. Die Arbeiter sind seit Jahren der Firma treu und sind sehr zuverlässig!
