  Wir haben über booking.com eine günstige, unkomplizierte und spontane Möglichkeit gesucht, um in Zentrumsnähe zu übernachten - insofern absolut zufriedenstellend, Check-in hat 5 Minuten gedauert, Mitarbeiterin an der Rezeption sehr freundlich, Zimmer erwartungsgemäß klein (2 Einzelbetten vorgefunden, wie gebucht), aber alles sauber, TV funktionierte.

  We booked 2 rooms. We arrived during the heatwave with 34°C outside. The AC works better on lower floors and bed is comfortable. You cannot control the AC on the 7th floor, but the 5th floor room we also booked could control the fan speed. The AC temperature was just right for sleeping. There is a strong scent from the cleaner used on the 7th floorway that seeps in through the small gap under the door. The 5th floor didn't have quite such a strong scent and room 509 was also clean. Room 704 was clean with the small exception of dark spots on the silicon in the bathroom. Not sure what the darker spots were. I think the bathroom fan and hairdryer in 704 was just working weakly or maybe I was experiencing skill issue. The bathroom is constructed in a wetroom style. There are three lifts. The middle lift has trouble with closing the doors and gets confused when there are multiple people who want to go to different destinations. Rest of the lifts are ok. Overall a solid choice for a budget hotel as long as you travel with light backpacks. I was apprehensive at first due to other reviews but I am glad some of the older issues from other travelers have been adressed and fixed. Would recommend and come again. Staff is friendly and processed check in fast and efficiently. I booked directly with B&B via their website. Check-in starts at 14:00. Other guests who booked via third party seem to take longer to check in. It took me three attempts to reach them by phone but they were able to answer my questions. The BaselCard is provided upon check-in. I didn't book or eat breakfast but saw some people from 6:30 to 10:00 am having breakfast. It looks like a buffet. Parking can be paid at reception for 20 chf a night. Check out is at 12:00 with option for late checkout for a fee. My thanks to the team for making sure our stay was pleasant. The hotel has a tram station T14 Zeughaus a short walk away. Very convienient to switch to other trams at Aescheplatz or SBB Bahnhof. The BaselCard made it convienient to get around with tram. The hotel is next to the highway but you cannot access it from the highway directly. Just follow Google maps. Because the hotel is located further out, the surroundings were quiet with the exception of the occasional cars you could hear from the highway at night. Nothing too loud that you would notice unless you are actively listening for it. Parking is located underground behind the hotel with enough space for longer vehicles. Overall my favourite B&B Hotel so far. I hope this helps.

  La camera una scatola di fiammiferi,quando ho fatto la prenotazione era incluso colazione e parcheggio quando sono arrivata ho dovuto pagare 28€per parcheggio e 36€ colazione per una copia,come structura no posso dire tanto che siamo stati una notte. Non vedevo l'ora di partire

  C'est mon avis, mon expérience... l'emplacement n'est pas top, pas de belle vue, mais très pratique avec le tram à 100 m (N° 14 pour aller en ville) Mais pour nous le prix à joué, le moins cher du coin et dispo ! De toute manière, c'est uniquement pour dormir !!! Bon accueil, compréhension de notre difficulté à ne pas parler la langue, disponible, souriant !

  This is a stretch to call this a 3 star hotel- more like 1 step above a hostel. There's a bar, but you have to wait for someone at the reception desk. No restaurant to speak of, and you'd better get breakfast before it shuts down. Room was tiny with absolutely no amenities, the environmental controls barely worked if they did at all- our room was only made up once. The shower is a real "gem"- the floor floods- and bring your own toilet paper! The staff however were fabulous and very responsive! By comparison, the Hotel Ochsen in Lenzburg, another 3 star hotel, was fantastic- with a mini fridge, rooms that are larger, much better appointed, a real bar, real sit down restaurant, etc- more like a 4 star than a 3
