Vincenzo Sammarruco
Geboren 1973 als italienischer Staatsbürger, aufgewachsen und studiert in Münchenstein, Baselland.
Schon im zartem Alter entdeckte ich mein Talent und meine Leidenschaft für das Zeichnen und Malen. Durch meinen Onkel, Giovanni Sammarruco, kam ich auf die Oelmalerei und übte mich autodidaktisch seinem Beispiel zu folgen.
Als ich in der Schule für Gestaltung in Basel nicht aufgenommen wurde, entschloss ich mich eine Lehre als Elektriker zu absolvieren. In der Lehre spürte ich sofort einen Drang zu Hammer und Meissel, so, dass ich nach der Ausbildung als Elektriker eine Schnupperlehre als Steinbildhauer besuchte. Sofort war mir klar, was ich wirklich wollte.
- 1995-1999 hab ich die Lehre als Steinbildhauer bei Heinz Zemp angefangen und erfolgreich abgeschlossen.
- 1999-2010 konnte ich bei Alban Imhof in Laufen Erfahrungen sammeln und mich entfalten.
- 2010-2012 Angestellt bei Paul Kistler in Biel-Benken.
- 2012 Endlich Selbstständig.
