  Right in the heart of downtown Montreal and so close to everything, especially the many, many restaurants! We had so much fun here! So much diversity and culture!

  Très bien situé, proche de tout. L'hôtel a été rénové et les chambres sont très confortables. Toutes disposent d'une salle de bain avec baignoire. Les chambres avec deux lits queen sont très grandes. La propreté de l'hôtel, l'accueil et la gentillesse sont un grand atout. Il y a un restaurant indien ainsi qu'une salle de petit-déjeuner et encas style bistro français de bonne qualité. Au 10e étage, la vue sur le plateau Mont-Royal est impressionnante.

  Outdated old hotel that is only worth it if you’re on a tight budget. Towels and sheets are old, bed not comfortable, and the place has a weird smell to it. Definitely won’t be coming here again, and will happily spend extra money to take one of the more premium options in the area.

  Hotel was very accommodating with all the changes I needed to make. The service yjere was great. The only complaint I have is one of the people in my group got a rash after staying. Other than that great. The hotel was also complicated and did not need to be upgraded

  No working A/C throughout rooms across the hotel. after multiple complaints, different rooms and a mechanic “checking the A/C” it slipped out from one of their night front desk staff that air conditioning is turned off to rooms. When we spend over $500 for a two night stay we expect to be comfortable with cooling down our room. When outside is 20 degrees last week of April. Below are photos and a list of room amenities which are standard. **Update** upon hearing back from Salem director of operations the next morning after filing a complaint, there is no acknowledgement of any issues on their end and they don’t see any issues with not providing A/C to cool down rooms.
