  The rooms were well-maintained and thoroughly cleaned; however, the beds appeared to be smaller than standard sizes. The breakfast offered was continental and did not stand out in any particular way.

  Great little hotel. The rooms with hot tubs are on the second floor unfortunately, but the amenities are great nonetheless. The hotel is close to many meandering paths close to the river, restaurants, pubs, big box stores and the LCBO. We were also able to walk from the Via station, so that's a plus if you don't drive. Speaking of, there is no ride share available in the area, so if you have to venture out of town, do some online research for taxi companies in the area and call to compare prices. As for the hotel itself, the internet is nice and fast, you get hot water right away, there is no coffee maker in the room, but you can get it at any time from the dining room. Staff are great and will help you with any issues. We had a very pleasant stay and would come back again. Just be aware that if you get a first floor room that you might here your above neighbours marching around. It's not a big deal, but it is noticeable./

  The people here are great. We've stayed several times over the past couple of years and have never been disappointed. Everyone is friendly, the breakfast is good/fresh and the outdoor pool is well looked after. Highly recommend!

  The location is convenient, but having stayed here several times over the years it shows the building is not cared for like it once was. Various signs of age, the once great restaurant is reduced to basic food, not mention the lack of staff. Booked rooms with two beds and somehow they only had a one bed room for us. Will try alternative places the next time we come to Smiths Falls.
