  Amazing spot. Recently renovated, very clean, comfy beds, great breakfast and lovely staff. If you can get a view of Chocolate Lake, it really is top shelf for what it is.

  Extremely disappointed with our 2 night stay here. Shortly after checking out, every member of our family started breaking out in red, itchy spots all over our bodies, we suspect bed bugs or some other issue with the room’s cleanliness. Given what we paid, this is completely unacceptable. The property itself felt old and run-down, not at all what was advertised. The bathroom door in the room wouldn’t even close properly, let alone lock, which was a real privacy issue for our family. Breakfast was another let down, the fruit looked cut days ago, stale and mushy, and everything felt watery and unappetizing. For the price we paid, we expected far better. We won’t be returning and would not recommend this hotel to others.

  My husband and I stayed here in early June 2026. We enjoyed our stay. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable and it was handy to have a restaurant on-site. The host at the front desk let us have a room up high with a view of Chocolate Lake. Thank you! Apparently I had booked a lower room with a drive up to the door, but I had changed my mind. It was a lovely view! It turned out to be quite foggy the next morning.

  We stayed at this best western for a total of 20 days and they were great. Rooms are large and spacious. We had a room with a view of the lake and that was awesome. The restaurant has a complementry breakfast which was perfect to start the day. The evening dinners were also very good. Service from all hotel staff was wonderful. I would highly recommend staying at this location.

  Overall stay is really good and relaxing even for a family of 4 ROOMS - We stayed in a suite room, Suite rooms should have at least bidet, dental and shaving kits nowadays coz hotels cater different types of guests - when we turn the AC down, the room starts to smell different - shower should have at least a shelf to put guests personal bath items - BEDS are really comfy👍 - It will look more elegant if the room has warm lightings SERVICE -if possible, a room service options for guests - breakfast is really good👍 - good service from waiter and waitresses - good set up for a breakfast buffet, not to crowded, really manageable. LOCATION - Accessible to areas we wanted to go to👍 - lots of parking spots👍 - it's like a one stop shop, you can relax, swim, play games, enjoy a relaxing ambiance of a lake, there's a gym and a BAR👍 *Maybe a billiard table next time for additional guest amenities😁👍🙏
