Rooms are clean, staff is friendly enough. Location isn't great if you're the type to be disturbed by ambient sound frankly, as I was woken up twice at 3 and 4 by train horns in the distance (phone said they peaked at 51dB, so not deafening by any means but definitely audible) as they approached the nearby oil railyard. Probably less an issue if you're on the front side of the hotel, admittedly.
Still has vending machines onsite, but they don't take any of the modern polymer bills as far as I can tell, and charge 20 cents for using a card. Still, more logical than the silly convenience store lobby stores many hotels use.
Nearby shopping options are good if you're looking for big box retail.

Nice rooms, comfy bed, quiet, good breakfast, convenient location, reasonable rates. A pleasure to stay here, look forward to staying there again!
The bed was low-mid for comfort. The wifi internet is throttled, super slow. 2 star motels have faster wifi. When the heat kicked on it sounded like metal grinding on metal. Not worth the money they charge.

Easy to get to, clean, great breakfast
Stayed here Jan 30 and 31st. Booked 2 rooms through Avion points, first room was fine, the other room not so much. As soon as we opened the door there was a bad smell from the room, smell of chemicals, covering mold/must, wet dog smell. Combine that with the fact that there was a silverfish crawling across the floor when we opened the door as well. There was hairballs all over the floor and just a very unclean room.
Asked front desk if we could have a new room, since this was not up to par for someone to stay in. Told us there was nothing they could do since it was booked on points, can't change the room at all. All he could do was offer us some Febreze to help cover the smell. Or we could book another room. I asked to see the other rooms and the one he showed us was fine, so I spent more avion points and booked the 2nd room.
I contacted Avion to see about refunding me the points we paid for the one room that was substandard, but when they called me back they told me the Hotel had said they did everything they could and we didn't accept any of their solutions. I'm sorry but Febreze doesn't cut it for me when the room is dirty, smells bad and had a live silverfish crawling in it.
In the end, I would really like to have the points back I wasted on the first room.
