  Due to wild fires we had to leave Kelowna. Only the night auditor allowed us to stay the evening without major credit card. The next morning I tried to book another night with 2 children. The morning/day shift front desk guy who not allow us to stay another night even tho we have money, cash, debit/visa. Absolutely was rude and could care less about evacuations. Every other hotel has allowed us to stay in this exact same manner. Pretty disgusting how they treat good people with cash and other forms of payment and especially children during emergencies. For Best Western as a great chain, but not this location. I hope the owner sees this.

  Just had an incredibly unpleasant experience with an employee named “Eric” in the parking lot. I have stayed here numerous times for work as the location is convenient and the hotel is clean. I was on a phone call in my vehicle when I was approached by Eric who proceeded to question me on “why I was parked there and was I checking in? ..told him yes I was . He then went on to ask me multiple times if I was sure I was checking in and what my name was so he could check for a reservation??? I do not appreciate being interrogated in the parking lot and the insinuation that I was being untruthful. What a truly bizarre experience!! I suggest Eric stick to emptying garbages and have zero interaction with customers. Nice hotel otherwise.

  Our family was in Trail recently for a family member's graduation and stayed here for four nights. I travel frequently for work, and I can honestly say this is one of the cleanest hotels I've stayed in, with some of the best customer service I've experienced. The staff were friendly, attentive, and quick to help with anything we needed. Every request was taken care of promptly, and the rates were very reasonable for the quality of the accommodations and service. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely be back the next time we're in Trail.
